La Cascada — Restaurant in Greenfield Township

On Saturday December 12th 2015 my family and I went for dinner. Only one out of the six of us could finish more than half of their meal. Mine was supposed to be a juicy chicken breast with bacon and cheese, rice and bean's. My chicken breast was dry and burnt. The bacon was extremely salty. The rice tasted like it had been sitting out all day and the beans was bland and dry. I also got a margarita. It was way to strong. Every drink I would take of it was like taking a straight shot. I wanted a drink with my dinner nt to get drunk. Our server asked how everything tasted? Our reply was that we have had a lot better else where. She just smiled and walked away, never bothered to see what the problem was. About 10 minutes after we all pushed our half eaten plates to the center of the table our server comes back to ask if we wanted desert. I said no just bring me my check so I can get out of here. When I get to the check out counter I'm asked again how was everything, I reply this is the worst place I have ever ate. She replies "yea I don't like the food here either". I ask for a manager and when she arrives it was clear that she didn't want to be there and I was just a waste of her time. As I went over the problems with the manager, she would tell me that I was wrong and no one else ever complains. When it was all said and done the manger tells me that she hopes I enjoy it better next time since I'm the only one to ever complain. I told her there is no chance of that as this was my 1st and last visit to the restaurant. So when it was all said and done it cost me full price of $98 for half eaten food and to be told...

Kinda a longer, but honest review. Been going to this place for 9-10 years. Started off great. Sombrero was unique and my favorite thing to get here. But, might I add, the customer service is horrible!!! I have found multiple hairs in my food on occasion, anytime I bring it up to management they argue with me , my girlfriend and I both have blonde hair, the hair that I have found in my food was black, this most recent visit the manager argued with me and say that I always have a problem with my food and out of the 9-10 years I’ve had an issue maybe 2-3 times . I was a regular there. She argued with me to the point the customers behind me had enough and left. They are losing customers, I’ve noticed over the years food quality has changed, Less and less busy, maybe for a reason?? I don’t know, but I do know I will no longer be returning here as I and my girlfriend have been treated poorly here. Also might I add, (which I find very weird) from the last time I had an issue before this most recent visit, which was over a year ago, the lady had pictures of me and my ex girlfriend in her phone and showed them to me because she claims I always have an issue there, my ex left a bad review because the last time I had a problem there they handled it very poorly. So because of that, she went on our facebooks and saved photos off of it?? Very strange. Have never had a bad dining experience at the Lancaster LA cascada until last night . Went out to dinner with the family we had a party of 6 they told us it would be 15-20 minute wait . They seated about 5 other parties before us that came in after including a group of 4 and a group of 5. We ended up waiting almost 45 minutes to get seated. Once we were seated it took about 10 minutes to have anyone come to our table and ask what we wanted to drink. We then ordered some cheese to go with our nachos and it never came until about 15 mins later when we had to ask for it again . About 20 minutes after we ordered they brought our side dishes and 5-10 minutes after that they brought our main dishes. My food was cold and I ended up just not eating it. The staff was all high school aged kids and they weren't there to give good customer service they were just there to hang out with friends and kill time on a Saturday night. Had gotten up to use the restroom and there was around 4-5 staff members hanging out up front and a couple laying on the benches at the entrance.
