Worst experience ever, Last night went into this store. A lot of customers in the store. Was needing some ornaments that were on the upper shelves; could not find an employee to assist me. Short ladder was sitting near the shelf so I used the ladder to access the boxes I needed (was no sign on the ladder that indicated we could not use it). I could hear someone talking loudly in the office near me. She came running out of the office yelling at me, screaming, “Get off that, you cannot be on that ladder.” I asked her to stop yelling at me and she continued to scream at me like I had committed a crime. She continued to talk very loudly as my friend was in the store as well and heard her yelling. She called someone in the store and proceeded to tell them that, “I have a customer trying to climb on this ladder and has now “copted an attitude.” She proceeded to tell me to leave “her store and that she was the store manager and her name is Willow.” I told her that she had no right to make me leave the store. She kept yelling at me and telling me to leave. I proceeded to walk away and leave and she followed me yelling very loudly for all customers to hear, “Get out of my store, go on, get out!” I know the customers standing in line to check out were looking around like they wondered what was happening or going to happen. She was talking on the phone telling someone my description…. I truly felt like a criminal and all I was doing was trying to get some items which could have easily been avoided had she just asked or said, “you cannot be on that ladder please.” Not sure why she feels the need to yell at customers especially...
Read moreHas anyone else experience a problem using your debit or credit cards at Michael’s. Last year I visited this store several times around the holidays. I went to cash out and my card said invalid number. I tried it 3 times and got embraced because the cashier made me feel like “ oh, it’s my problem and keep it moving.” Maybe I have no money. Which was not the issue. I finally paid cash and chucked it up to a glitch from the holiday season.
A few weeks later I went back and had the same issue. This time I was treated worse so I decided to contact the bank in front of the associate. Clearly, it was not me and the bank said it’s Michael’s blocking the transaction. I contacted customer service no help was offered just blamed it on my bank.
2019, back at it again...last night the same exact thing happened. I am defending myself at the register over my card having an invalid number. The lines getting backed up and I’m being treated like a criminal.
It’s seems they do not want to fix the problem. I have came across a few others that has had the issue. I am determine to look into this because I believe they are rejecting some cards without notifying the customers at the register. Read moreI am disappointed in curbside pick up today. This was my first curb side pick up experience. I have not even tried grocery store curb side yet. I am fine with giving the energy to shop in person and wait in line but I am trying to do things safely for my family during COVID. I received a text hours before I picked up my order and that text said my order was ready. I responded by the text service with curbside pick up to say I had arrived. I parked up by the curb beside the brick columns at the front door. I waited while at least 3 more cars arrived and were given their orders. When giving those orders, a representative did not come ask me if I was waiting for an order. I finally called after 30 minutes and the order was brought out within one minute. I don’t think it is okay to wait 30 minutes without someone reaching out by text to say we are sorry for the delay, I do not think the system should be ran where you arrive first but have at least 3 orders come and go while you wait, and it is not okay to feel like you are not even there and not checked on while waiting. I will do curbside probably again but I will call next time when I arrive to pick up instead of texting to say I have arrived.
