I wish I was writing a more positive review however that is not the case..

I would not trust them with your rings if you are customizing.

My husband and I came here to create a custom band for my engagement ring( his grandmothers ring!)

Our initial consult with our ring was great and the woman we spoke with was very understanding with how we wanted my wedding band to turn out, and also how sentimental it is to us. They took my engagement ring to make a mold since we were customizing a wedding band around my engagement ring. Well. The girl who originally helped us had moved onto another job and was no longer with the company. perfectly fine I understand that those things happen. HOWEVER. The only reason I found out that our ring was being taken care of by a different person was by calling, after they had our ring for two months! I called to check in because we had heard absolutely nothing. we were told they would have my engagement ring for 4 to 6 weeks and we would get it back sometime in that period. when I called, they had told me that my wedding band would be done and ready that week… We had specifically explained to them that we wanted to try on a mold or see pictures of what the custom wedding band would look like BEFORE they actually cut it. The new girl (megan) now in charge of our ring didn’t plan on doing that apparently. She also did not inform us that she changed the band that they were cutting or whatever they were doing! She was not clear. All she was clear on is that “it will save you money” “it’s cheaper than your estimate”. Although that may be thoughtful.. we SHOULD have been clued in on this before she decided to change it for us. I asked her to wait to cut anything and send me pictures to my email of what the band even looks like and so so. She firstly sends an email to the wrong email address and I didn’t get the email with pictures of our ring until a week later. When I finally got them the ring looks ridiculous. Completely wrong width. The band was huge. I asked for a thin width ring and for them to cut out a slither to fit against my engagement ring. They did not listen to what i had asked at all.

Absolutely terrible communication going on with this company. I don’t understand how you can have a clients ring for a long period of time without informing them as to why and also change their plans for their ring. AGAIN without informing them.

A waste of time coming...

The staff is always welcoming and knowledgable, and there is always something new! If I have something particular in mind and they currently don't have it, they will find it for me! 6 years ago: Such a lovely surprise to find a fine jewelry store reminiscent of the way jewelry stores used to be, where every associate--without being pushy--treats each person who enters with a determination to be of genuine service. Couple this with a warm, smiling, and knowledgeable staff; an excellent repair team; and the ability to duplicate jewelry to exacting specifications, and Bailey's Fine Jewelry of Greenville has become my new favorite store in North Carolina!
