I donāt want to even leave a star āļø. I just left the store around 1:30 pm on 3/2/23. I waited in line and didnāt use the self checkout because I didnāt know how to do a gift card on that line . I waited until I was acknowledged and I told the end registrar what I was trying to do so the cashier that was talking to the store at the time to come on down . As I came to sit my items down , I sat them down near the shipping bags . The cashier responded with no you can place them here SIR or whatever as if she didnāt know how to identify me. I was livid because at the end of the day Iām ( NOT) a whatever. Also there is no way anyone can confuse me with what gender I am. THIS IS & WAS DISCRIMINATION ā¼ļø I asked to speak to the manager at the time and asked was she the store manage that person name was Sue, and she was off for today . She asked me to come back with her, which was the office I told her ( NEVER ) in my 40 something years on this planet have I encountered such IGNORANCE ā¼ļø She proceeded to say ā I donāt think she meant any harm by it . ( Are you KIDDING ME( . Customer be mindful of where you shop this type of tomfoolery should not be allowed Or excepted. Iām looking into seeing if an attorney will accept this case . People are judgemental/ disrespectful/ discriminatory towards ANYONE should NOT be allowed to work at this establishment and Iām not going to allow this cashier to get away with this . BEWARE ā¼ļøā¼ļø I have also reached out to corporate and was told someone would call me within 24HRS it never happened. I emailed the CEO and my email was ignored. This shows that I wasnāt important enough to even respond to an email or call me back .. I encountered discrimination in this store be careful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI like the store a lot. It helps that it is near to my residence. It also isnt packaged into an area where there is constant gridlock. The store is well kept. Definitely clean, a craft store is always a battle of people not putting things back where they found them. However they do a very good job keeping things in stock and where they belong. I dont feel like there are not enough employees working the floor helping people find what they are looking for, get them what they need out of a locked cabinet or locked hung item
I always have a number of questions about products, this vs. that, and where things I need are located and there isnt a soul in sight. Its oretty easy to manuver the store. There is a lot of work that could be done on ensuring that accurate pricing is displayed and with the correct product. They do better than other retailers and their competitors in the area but it is very annoying for both ends; guest and employees, to not know what the price is on an item. Guest has the employee ring it then the guest not want it. Then at the end of the shift emoloyee has to waste expensive extra time putting it away. Why not invest in bar code readers? I bet it saves you collectively 3 cashiers annual salaries in saved time annually not putting these unmarked items away. The app is a great thing to have... On the app get a forty to fifty percent off coupon weekly. You also generate points that offer discounts and other bonuses and they keep up with new products relevant to your area of interest. This store also price matches their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am going to be vague in my description of what I went to Michael's for bc it's the start of a Christmas gift to my husband. That being said my experience was nothing short of lovely and fun! P is for Pat and P is for paient. They (i forgot to ask preferred pronouns so i will continue to to refer to Pat & Zach as they/them or by name. Its just the courteous human thing to do) spent true quality time with me picking out what I wanted. Though they were new to their position was an absolute dream and when they were unsure of how to do something Pat would call for the manager, Zach, who was equally patient with both of us. This in itself speaks volumes about the people working here! Zach would come when Pat called without even a hint of irritation. Zach would even drop from time to time by to make sure Pat & I were okay. When it came time to check out Pat & I needed Zach's assistance and again Zach's kind and patient nature made Pat and my transaction seamless & painless even for the "sticker shock" that REALLY wasn't AWFUL! Seriously a few years ago I went down the street to a HIGHLY recommended vendor and I only got 1 thing for at least half the price what I paid for 5 today! And let's just say the costumer service could not compare to the exchange I had today at Michael's at the corner of Haywood & Laurens Rd. I realize I went at an off time during a holiday weekend so things might not always be so chill but I will continue to go here if this is going to be the norm. They both were an...
