Feeling EXTREMELY frustrated. Ordered ahead through the app to save time. When I got to the store the drive through was wrapped completely around the building (not their fault, I know), so I went to walk inside to grab my order. Apparently this Starbucks is closed inside... keep in mind this is the only location that I’ve seen in the area that is drive through only right now. I was short on time and really didn’t have the extra time to wait in the drive through, so I called asking for a refund. The lady informed me that they were not able to give refunds, but I could come back later to get my sandwich (less than helpful). So, I decided to go through the drive through which took 20 mins. When I FINALLY got my food, there was egg and cheese all over my sandwiches, which my friend and I can’t eat because we are both plant based. I called the store again expressing my frustration and was informed again that they cannot give refunds, but I could come back and get another sandwich but I’d have to wait in the drive through again. You’d think they would be able to at least run out to the parking lot in this situation....
Read moreI go to this location from time to time as they’re the closest to my workplace. My online orders are always made swiftly and they seem to work very efficiently under pressure seeing as the store on early weekdays is always packed but the employees always seem calm and collected. This morning i was trying to waste time before I could switch my laundry over (laundromat problems) and I decided to get some hot chocolate. Apparently the star amount for drinks had recently gone up from 150 to 200 and I didn’t know this but I was counting on my stars to pay for my drink as I am a broke preschool teacher. Embarrassingly for me, I only had 177 stars and I did not have $10 to reload onto my account to pay for the rest of the drink. I was about to just leave and I felt like crying of embarrassment when someone else interrupted and gave me the drink even with my remaining balance of $2 and some change. Read moreI am absolutely appalled at the lack of professionalism displayed at this starbucks location. As a company that makes inclusivity and belonging one of their core values, I am extremely disappointed at the behavior I saw today. A group of girls came in this afternoon and placed their order as I was enjoying my coffee at the seating near the counter. While waiting on their orders, I unpleasantly overheard this young man, an employee, remark on the girls’ uniforms, shaming them for the school they go to and their religion. I applaud these girls for brushing this comment off, however this does NOT make it acceptable under any circumstances. Starbucks, your values statement is all inclusive and doesn’t exclude anyone! EVERYONE deserves to feel safe and comfortable in the environment you aim to create. In every Starbucks this is posted on their walls, social media, and numerous campaigns run to reinforce their efforts.
