The sales displays are misleading, they are not placed with the items for sale. I always have to check, then double check pricing and still get something not the sale price displayed. That's even after checking brand, sleeve length, fabric material, etc, because item was with the wrong clothing display. Originally thought this was just an inadvertent customer misplace, but now I believe it is a marketing ploy to mislead the consumer. Everytime I've been in, an item or two is discounted, but not the amount on rack or display. Actually, it's false advertisement. I just spent $73 on 4 items. Believing a mistake was made on a misses sportswear item, I walked back in to confirm. I explained where the top was located on the rack, with 4 identical tops, along with others very similar. Except my chosen top had 2 colors. Same long sleeve, brand, check, but was not the listed sale price. Even showing the manager on a separate display, which stated same price on the hanging rack as the mannequin display section, which clearly stated the brand, tank, short sleeve, and long sleeve tops selling at a listed price, not a % amt off. The manager couldn't explain the difference except the original price was different by $10. Well after spending almost 2 hours in Kohl's and again completely feeling mislead, instead of exchanging the top or settling for a refund, which I really had wanted this top, along with the other items I selected; I believed it be best to return ALL my items. Therefore, over less than 10 dollars loss, it's over $70. I like Kohl's a lot, but the misleading displays, false advertising, and have to literally "seek & find" a single items price, it's just not worth it. Old Navy should have stayed in my opinion vs Kohl's in Greenwood. Kohl's is nice, but sooo irritating. I believe you guys will be gone in less than 2 more years! I'm marking...
Read moreNice retail clothing store. Great products, but be prepared for pricing games. The shopping experience & quality of the merchandise is top notch, but for some reason, Kohl's just doesn't seem to be able to give you a straight price. The shirt is marked at $55 but there's a 30% off sale, & when you get to the register there's a scratch off card & you save another 15%, & if you use your Kohl's Credit Card, you save another 10%. Final price, $29.45. (Unless of course you have Kohl's cash to drop the price even further). I'd be fine paying that, & be MUCH happier without all the head games! I don't need "feel good" BS to make me think I'm saving all this money. If the shirt really were $55, it would stay on the rack! We ALL know the price has been artificially inflated to cover all these supposed discounts. Can you imagine how much cheaper the prices would be if Kohl's would drop these games, fire the people they pay to keep track of all this & just give us a straight price on their...
Read moreI'd give the Kohl's in Anderson, SC a negative star if I could. We were in the store last night looking to purchase some sunglasses, which were on sale, for my son who is active duty military. We waited at the counter for quite a while with no one in sight. When my daughter-in-law walked around until she found an associate, she asked "can we please get some help?" to which the associate said "no." I'm not even kidding. All the people standing there laughed, and we walked out fed up. This morning I tried to find a place on the Kohl's website to complain, but no, they only have "feedback" for their products or credit card. Kohl's in Anderson, SC is a terrible place. All the people were...
