Love the store. Being that it was just open today the line was quite the long wait. It was well worth it and it did move very fluidly. It was just a bit of a wait because there were so many people excited and waiting to see the store, which I completely understand. The staff was exceptionally beyond five stars and they were very kind and patient and moving as fast as they could for all the LEGO heads that showed up today. Kudos to those guys. The store was organized like any typical LEGO store. The team was working diligently to restock shelves as many items were flying off due to high sales. It was fun to watch the kids at the building stations. My son took advantage of the time and built a structure at one station, then built a mini figure in another station. I browsed around and looked at everything and picked up a couple of boxes for myself and my son. Once we got through check out, we stamped our passports and made sure we collected our VIP points. Overall, the experience was fantastic and even if you’re not a fan, I would recommend come in and check it out, good...
Read moreAs of Friday, Sep 20th, 2024, Nebraska now has an official LEGO Store.
Opening day is unlikely to be indicative of future experience, though it's certainly encouraging, the team did very well to ́maintain a friendly and welcoming environment despite Black Friday-esque lines.
If you've never been to a LEGO Store before, then be sure to take advantage of the LEGO Passport. It doesn't confer any benefits, but it's a fun free souvenir that you can request at the checkout counter and receive a rotating selection of stamps.
The LEGO Store is fairly spacious and with a good selection. Even when crowded on opening day, it was possible to navigate and check out anything you liked, over a half hour or so visit.
To clarify one reviewer's remarks–there is, in fact, a section for younger children with Duplo blocks, and other play stations for older children (and AFOLs, of course).
If you've been to unofficial brick shops, they certainly have a unique charm, but it's definitely worth the drive for a full...
Read moreOur family goes to the Lego store very often. Each time we go, we’re met with very friendly people who are all ready to jump in and assist us with answering questions, finding products or sending the kids on fun scavenger hunts! Our experience today was even more top tier than usual. Our 6 year old had brought in a $50 gift card and she had dropped it somewhere in the store. We were upset and so was our 6 year old. I checked with a cashier to see if anyone had turned it in and he said nobody had. The whole family went on a hunt for it through the store and we couldn’t find it. One of the Lego workers came over to us and informed us that she had sent some workers out searching for this gift card, and they had found it. We were beyond grateful and very impressed that they took the time to find a 6 year olds gift card. They made her day! ❤️
We LOVE this store and will continue...
