Cold. Stone. Creamery. This isnât any run of the mill ice cream joint where they tip your ice cream upside down to prove a point to the world(when no one asked). This is a creamery, serving ice cream of the highest degree. It has been years since I treated myself to Cold Stone, and had to run it back for old times sake. The young man working behind the counter had the store in peak shape. Chairs pushed in, tables clean, and his workspace in neat order ready to help the next guest. I treated myself to the Strawberry Blonde in a dipped cone, while my sister dabbled into a Birthday Cake Remix in a bowl. He helped every customer, didn't rush anyone, made suggestions, was very friendly, gave samples to people who wanted some, suggested getting a photo taken with the big bear.. which I did LOL. Then was distracted in conversation amongst themself. Gal said I could pay at the end. I walked down to pay- different gal standing there counting - not acknowledging me at all. Then finally greeted me and asked me to wait. Then the girl tossed my chocolates on the counter to me. Then she rang me up. I finally knew the price of what I was buying- wouldnât have bought it had I known the price ahead of time. Pay system took FOREVER.
