Derby Market Place — Local services in Gypsum Township

Derby Market Place is Derby's version of the Maize Market. We don't have as many stores. I hope to eventually see a Marshall's, Old Navy, and maybe an Academy. However, the Ross by far is the neatest and cleanest I've shopped in. The staff is always nice and professional. They now have self checkout but remember to let the employees remove magnetic tags on your merchandise. Don't forget Tuesday is 10% off for 55 and older. This is my preferred day to shop. The only negative is I feel the inventory they receive weekly is not as much as other Ross stores. So there are times I do have to visit a Wichita store if I'm shopping for specific merchandise. I also frequent Bath and Body Works, Catos, TJ Maxx, Sally's Beauty Supply and Dillons grocery store. All offer terrific customer service. Always plenty of handicap parking and great shopping experiences. If you haven't given Derby shopping a try come on out, you won't be disappointed. Very nice area and selection for just about anything you want (or need) to pick up for every day life. It can get a little crowded depending on the time of day, but that's normal for any shopping center. Low crime rate with plenty of lighting after dark and local LE regularly checking the area in support of their citizens safety and comfort. Employees are typically great with customer service and willing to help carry out purchases to customers vehicles if needed. Shopping carts are always collected and brought inside so customers have easy access to get their shopping done without additional hassle. Sales and coupons are printed out and available at the entrance or can be accessed via online apps and added to your account on the spot. I went there and you know I shop for a good hour I spent almost $300 on some food it's pretty good food I ate it I liked it I think I didn't like cuz when I wanted to check out they didn't have no one there working to check me out they tried to think I was going to check myself out well I don't work for Dillons and I never been trained so you know if you don't want don't know what you're doing sometimes you slip a couple tues of the items in your cart and you forget to scan it but I would never trade on how to do it properly so if they took a loss...
