Went in to return one item, had the original receipt and packaging, it just didn't fit. Handed it to the clerk, she started processing it and handed me a gift card without saying a word. Perplexed, I asked if I could get my money refunded to Paypal. She paged a manager, twice, twenty minutes later they arrive and void the refund and leave. Clerk attempts it again and says that there is the same error as before, the system can't process the return to Paypal. So I have to take a gift card as there is no other option. Guess I'm going to have to use this money at Kohl's.
Go online at home to use the card and purchase another item. Two weeks go by, says it should arrive on 4/21, which is fine. On 4/29 there is still no tracking update other than USPS is waiting for Kohl's to drop off the package. I contact customer service, am told I have to wait two more days to see if it arrives before I can get a refund, and then given a "refence number" to give to another rep if it doesn't show up.
5/2 contact the next rep, give the number, they ignore it, and ask for order number. Then I ask for refund, and they issue it along with, you guessed it another reference number. I ask for confirmation email, nope, and I am told to way 7-14 days for a refund. So no confirmation this has been processed, and I won't get a refund or email that refund has been processed until 7-14 days. But Roberto gave me his word it would arrive.

Read moreI used to love Kohl’s until they started changing everything. I’ve been with them since they opened the store. I order a lot online if I can’t find it in the store. For the first time this Christmas one package was missing. I had just found out I had cancer and was not home. I had told them to send it so I could sign for it, which they didn’t. I called to let them know. I didn’t receive the package and they had a picture that UPS delivered it. I’ve never had a problem with them until now because they have decided to keep my money which is almost $600 and not send me another replacement. I even spoke to corporate. I’m not sure what I can do but I have a police report and it still didn’t make a difference. The only thing I can do is take it to court or does someone else have a different idea? Their reasoning behind this is they’re telling me that too many people are saying they’re not receiving their packages and they can’t keep putting out money. I told her this is the first time that this is ever happened to me and I was sick with cancer. Does anyone have any idea of what I can do?  I would have received it the end of December. Needless to say this will be the last time that I will ever...
Read moreThis was my first visit ever, to a Kohl's. I went to exchange a purse that i got for Christmas. I didn't have a receipt and it was easy to get store credit, I just had to show ID, so that was nice. There was not alot of stock or selection and kind of disorganized but maybe because that because its January...So I got a few summer clearance items and a Christmas ornament because everything else seemed a bit overpriced. Four hairclips was $20 and I almost didn't get them but since i signed up for the Kohl's club, i got 20% off promo for that purchase (only) and only paid $16, which is still alot for 4 very small banana clips. Also, the 2 cashiers staff members I dealt with seemed like they did not want to be there at all. If i ever go back it would be if i had to waste time and Id probably only buy clearance items. I'd imagine everything is overpriced unless you have Kohls kash.
SECOND VISIT/UPDATE: The whole staff was ALOT more friendly this time. Their clearance sections are plentiful and I bought alot more than I thought I would because the (clearance) prices were great. The fitting room was clean, well lit and spacious....
