Being from the south and owning a ranch I’ve been to multiple western outfitters for clothing but NEVER did I receive the kind of service provided to me at this Boot Barn location. The moment I walked in the door Brian gave me an energetic welcome asked if I’ve ever been to a Boot Barn before. I said no so he gave me a tour of the store. He also checked in on me multiple times to ensure I was ok. Saw I had multiple shirts and pants and still looking about. He kindly offered to hold them for me behind the counter to free up my hands. Then to a huge surprise said while your shopping he would clean and reshape my hat! I took him up on the offer. During my visit another salesmen came up and introduced himself with a big smile and also offered any assistance I may need. When I went up to the register to pay Brian came up to me with MY hat which looked brand new. I offered him a 20.00 dollar tip and he flat out refused it saying something like seeing my face when I handed over the hat was payment enough. WHERE IN THIS COUNTRY DO YOU GET THIS KIND OF SERVICE? Read moreCame to the store with my boyfriend to pickup an order placed apx. 40 minutes after placing the order. Arrived to pickup, walked up to the front desk and told an older gentleman who did not say hello or if he could help, he just stared at me until I told him I was here to pick up for Aimee. He very rudely asked my last name, then when he could not find my order asked if it would be under a different last name. It felt like he was so bothered by the fact I had to ask him for something instead of having him simply ring out my items. Pretty sure he went back into the back to pack up my order that was not ready yet. Thank goodness we were paying attention when he came back to the front so we could see him glaring at us to signal our pickup order was ready. He did tell us we would receive a confirmation email when the order was ready and I apologized for the inconvenience we caused and left. Read moreI love this store, don't get me wrong, Boot Barn is amazing but after my experience at the Hamilton location I would rather drive to any other location no matter how far. The employees are slow, poorly trained and ambivalent to just about everything other than standing behind a counter. Google maps doesn't bring you to the right spot within their plaza and when calling to ask for directions the person on the phone didn't seem to be bothered to be helpful.
