TL : DR - I DID NOT GET MY DRESS UNTIL 4 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! I had a very bad experience. I do not recommend Love Bird's Bridal Boutique.
If it hadn't been for my experience up front being so wonderful, this review would've been a one-star review.... At first, everything was amazing and magical! The staff was awesome! I was pampered! Found my dream dress! They sent me flowers after I bought my dream dress! HOWEVER.... I ENDED UP NOT GETTING MY DRESS UNTIL 4 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! (I ordered my dress 7 months before the wedding, and paid the total price of the dress on the same day I said "yes to the dress".)
Additionally, communication with the boutique (after spending thousands of dollars on a dress) became one-sided. I always had to reach out to them. When I realized a month after ordering my dress that I hadn't received an order confirmation or an estimated time of arrival, I called the boutique. The person I spoke to said they didn't have any info at this time. BUT THEN the very next day, the person called back telling me my dress would arrive 1.5 months before the wedding. (For some reason, I got the impression that they forgot to actually place the order due to the sudden availability of information the next day, but this is just speculation.) But this 1.5 months before the wedding was worrisome because alterations take time (in fact the boutique said their alterations take up to 4-6 weeks), and the bridal boutique knew we were going to make some major alterations to the design of the dress when it arrived. When I expressed my worry to the staff and owner, the only reassurance I was given was it'll get here on time. (Rather than devising a Plan B in the event it didn't get here on time, like promising me the dress on the rack.)
Also, when I would call for updates on my dress, often they were vague about where it was coming from. Once they told me my dress was coming from Chicago. Later another staff member said it was coming from overseas. Then someone said it was coming by ship. Followed by the owner saying they only use air travel for shipping. Basically, I received a lot of conflicting information.
This experience extremely stressed me out. To the point I had family members telling me I needed to find a backup dress. A bride should never have to go through this! But based on other reviews apparently I'm the only bride that has had an awful experience here (besides two other low reviews). However, the owner never apologized, never offered an additional discount (because you get discounts on their other services when you buy a dress from them) or a partial refund. BUT I thought I would at least get a sincere apology from them considering I didn't get my dress until 4 days before my wedding.
Anyway, that's my honest review. I don't recommend Lovebird's Bridal Boutique. Anyone considering this bridal boutique might not have an awful experience like me, but you might. Regardless, this boutique was the worst part of my...
Read moreTL;DR: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The best bridal boutique in the Gulf South! Amazing inventory, knowledgeable staff, and an exceptional experience overall. You will not be disappointed.
Iâm honestly not sure where to begin or how to fully capture just how phenomenal our experience was with Love Birds Bridal Boutique.
As a two-bride wedding, we had a unique request: a double fitting where we could try on dresses at the same time without seeing each other. From the very beginning, LBBB went above and beyond to make this happen. They coordinated every detail perfectly. We each had our own stylistâMackenzie and Graceâwho were nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the inventory, guided us through the process with ease, and created a personalized, positive, and comfortable experience for both of us.
We tried on multiple dresses, and to our surprise and delight, we both said yes to our gowns that day! On top of that, we received amazing support from other staff members, including Z and the owner, Cheryl, who all made us feel so special.
Our family and friends who came along couldnât stop raving about the experience. They all agreed this was the best bridal boutique theyâd ever seen. From thoughtful gifts upon arrival to a celebratory champagne toast when we found our dresses, every detail was perfect.
I cannot recommend Love Birds Bridal Boutique enough. Their team truly made our day unforgettable, and Iâll be singing their praises for...
Read moreAwful experience...the whole wedding party had multiple issues. The initial visit was fine they took our measurements, we paid our $300 a piece and left. But then, after months, they called for us to come try everything on 1 week before the wedding and gave us a 3-day window to pick them up or we wouldn't be getting them. When I came in to try on my tux the pants looked like capris. The girl acted like it was no big deal and told me she would fix them but I'd have to come back. I asked her if she wanted to take my measurements again. She said no I can see how far it needs to come down. So, I take off work for a 3rd time to go back to get my tux and it's way too long. She said that she would have to adjust them and I can come back and pick them up the next day. I told her I would not be taking another day off work that she needed to go ahead and do it while I was there. She seemed a little put off, but went back and did it anyways. When she brought the pants back out, she only did the sides so the front and the back flop out on my shoes. She told me to use a safety pin on the front and back. I ended up having to get my mom to redo them so it didn't look ridiculous. For $300 I expected MUCH better service and a more professional experience than when I used men's warehouse. But, it was not. And I was not the only one. All bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the groom all had issues. The bride was the only one that they got right. I will never...
