I had been looking for either a necklace, bracelet, or ring to take home as a gift for my husband. None of the stores I went to had what I was looking for. Actually I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for but I would know it when I saw it. Stumbled on the Kona Jewelry Factory and as soon as my mom and I walked in we were warmly greeted by Kathy. She welcomed us, explained the pieces in the area I was looking at, and invited us to pick up any of the displays to turn them over for the price or if we weren't comfortable she would happily do it for us. I had heard so many stories of places that scolded you for touching items so this was refreshing to hear. I settled on a necklace with a fishhook pendant. Kathy shined up the pendant for me so it sparkled, upgraded the chain, and gave me a cute little gift box. While doing all of this we had some great conversation and laughs. Kathy is very sweet and it was such a pleasure doing business with her. I felt the prices were well in line for the merchandise and definitely better than anywhere else I had been. The Proprietor of the Kona Jewelry Factory is Very Sweet, Honest, and Her Store in the Kona Inn Shopping Center offers Good Quality Jewelry at very reasonable Prices. After visiting all of the Jewelry stores in Kailua Kona, The Kona Jewelry Factory, and the Jewelry store direct across the street are the two best, honest, good customer service jewelry stores. Don't go to any other Jewelry store, where they will sell you the same Jewelry for prices that are twice and three times as much.
