We loved the service we received from Lake Forest Interior Design. You can go to the big box stores, but you will not get the selection or the help that you will need. My husband and I after a long journey of looking here and there for kitchen back splash tile decided to go back to Lake Forest Interior Design (we had made a previous purchase there.) We were on the right track and close but, just hadn't arrived at a design that would satisfy both of us. We are picky!!! When at Lake Front Design we met with Erin one of their designers. She was professional, gave us great insights, was a good listener and guided us brilliantly. We placed our order. The order arrived with two broken pieces. Most importantly she discovered this - not us after the tile arrived home. She then immediately went in to action and made an immediate replacement -by calling around to different suppliers - who all knew well. We can not say enough about our experience with Lake Forest Interior Design. Her expertise was not charged for. They are lucky to have such a wonderful designer. Erin saved the day and the...
Read moreBuyers Beware!!!! Before purchasing flooring from this company, Lake Forest Design, please check the product's warranty, both from the retailer AND the manufacturer. Apparently, most carpet warranties do not cover carpet issues due to "excessive moisture." Unfortunately, living in the Pacific Northwest, there is ALWAYS "excessive moisture" due to the climate. In our case, neither the retailer nor manufacturer (Lexmark/Tarkett) has a disclaimer advising not to use their products in the homes in this area. Make sure that BOTH parties will honor the warranty, if needed. Ask the retailer how many claims have been made due to carpet buckling, or any other issues you might be concerned about. And, if you are not satisfied with their inspector, in some cases the inspector is representing both the retailer and the manufacturer (which, in my opinion, is a conflict of interest), I highly recommend you hire your own inspector, one who would represent your...

My husband found what we needed and again she keep directing us else were. We finally got it across this is what we wanted and ask for an estimated cost. We gave her the size and she comes back and says it's $44.00 a yard and binding is $4.00. I ask so what's the estimate? She total us we could figure it out. We walked out and will...
