I wish I could give 0 or negative stars.
Worst Verizon store I’ve ever used! They canceled ALL my 5 pickup orders in the past few weeks during Black Friday/Cyber weeks without any explanation. Totally wasted of my time. They are liars, the worst thing they did was:
11pm: I placed a pickup order successfully. The 2nd day around 9am: the order was cancelled because I didn’t pick it up!!! How ridiculous!
You see what they did: they tricked the system to make it look like it was my fault the order was cancelled. When you contact the Verizon customer service, it would look like i didn’t pickup so it got cancelled until you show the agent the timestamps of ordering & cancelation, Which makes the shopping experience even harder. Imagine you thought you got a good deal during black Friday from Verizon and after a few hours, it is gone without no reason. This process repeated 5 times, you can imagine how frustrated I felt. Initially, I thought my account was flagged with fraud or something, but when I called the Verizon fraud team, they said everything is ok on my account! This makes the whole thing a mystery!
The other odd things I saw:
The Verizon online support also checked the inventory for me and confirmed it was in stock. He even helped me place the order again, unfortunately, it got cancelled too! Once it got cancelled, if you check the inventory another day, it still showed in stock, which is ridiculous.
My conclusion:
If the item was out of stock, it shouldn’t keep showing in stock after the cancellation. Since this was the 75% discount of the accessories, I think this store didn’t want the customer to have the item with a huge discount. This is not cool! I have zero issue with pickup orders in other stores.
My suggestion to the store manager: I got it if you guys don’t want to sell an item with a huge discount, just to be honest, take it down from the inventory online. Please don’t play games and waste people’s time to order and cancel. Stop telling lies.
As a loyal Verizon user, I am very disappointed with the terrible shopping experience! Also, I tied to call the store number listed in the order to figure out what was going on, but it went to Verizon customer service directly, useless.
I already made a complaint through Verizon customer service. Let’s see how it goes.

I was told I couldnt get any deals on a phone unless I upgraded my plan, so I said no. I tried to purchase the phone retail, and they told me the system wont let them!
I have an old plan I was grandfathered into so I decided to keep it and pay full price for the phone, but I couldnt even do that!
Told me I have to buy it from apple then activate it
Almost 3 hour in the store, and simultaneously the store and I on a call with customer service, finally it activates.
Customer service calls back a few minutes later on the new activated phone (same number) and tells me they HAD to change my plan without my consent to activate it
Now I’m left with a new plan at double the price of my old one, lost the mobile hotspot feature my old plan had, AND received no deals because I was told I had to buy the phone retail from apple.
I’m told they cant change it back in the system and I should receive a call back in a few days (which never happens, probably so they can say its been x days we cant change it now)
As a 19 year verizon customer from a family plan and now 4-5 years on my own plan it’s extremely upsetting.
Full price phone, lost features, higher bill, no permission to change my plan given (entire reason I paid retail for the phone was NOT to change the plan).
And they dont care whatsoever. Probably going to take my unlocked phone somewhere else just out of respect for myself since there is clearly none from verizon
UPDATE:
Will have a manager call within 5 days…… absolutely nothing. A complete waste of time and not an ounce of effort to remedy anything.
Only care is to pretend to protect their online presence. Just called in again and wasted another 30 minutes on the phone with the cancellation department. Can’t even cancel my account before disconnecting me and now “the departments closed for the day”.

Read moreSuccess at last. I needed a new flip phone to pair with new model vehicle. Two prior trips to this store did not yield results and I encountered each time a cold, unconcerned uninformative representative.
I returned again and was warmly brought into the store and brought to representative, Muhammed. He listened carefully to my needs and situation. The store did not have a potential flip phone on site but an effort was made to procure one to ship to my home. Faced with some computer glitches, he was courteous, concerned and tried to get additional help (from an unpleasant coworker). Even got me a stool to sit on because the process was taking quite a bit of time. As he worked, I noticed a manager and went to him to compliment Muhammed's work. Solutions Mgr, Slav Godin, came over to enable Muhammed and worked with him to accomodate me as well as they possibly could. Slav called an area store and arranged to get me a phone shipped to their store overnight. I didn't ask him to do that but he wanted me to be taken care of. That is how good business should be done and a good reputation fostered with future customers.
I came back to purchase the phone and was then assisted by Danielle Romero, another Solutions Manager. In minutes, she had the phone set, paired to my vehicle, loaded with all my contacts and she escorted me to my car. Danielle even did some checking to make sure I was receiving the best purchase price on my phone. I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and level of information given to me by Danielle Romero and Slav Godin. My problems, which can be disconcerting as a senior, were resolved. Thank you all very much.
