New Tiffany Nail Art — Local services in Hazlet Township

Came in for the first time to soak off my acrylics and get a gel manicure and pedicure. I booked an appointment by phone and asked how much it was before I came in. I was told gel manicure and pedicure was $40. I come to the salon and get my pedicure and was “soaking off” my nails with acetone and tin foil. The first woman I was put with couldn’t get he acrylic off my nails and suggested I leave some on bc the nails under would be soft. I assured her I wanted them off entirely. Then was put over in the drying area with more foil on my nails waiting. Another woman came and tried buffing them off and was also unsuccessful. More foil and about an hour later I was put with another woman who was overly aggressive with filing and seemed quite annoyed to have to do my nails. She was able to get the acrylic off but also scratched up my cuticle and wasn’t shaping my nails nicely was just kinda filing and moving on to the next thing. Overall I did not feel relaxed or happy at this point I was being treated like an annoyance bc I wanted a gel manicure. Then when going to pay the woman now informs me that it’s $70. I said I was told over the phone a different price and she said no that’s wrong. I said fine paid and wanted to leave a tip on the card and when I said I just wanted to leave $5 bc honestly I wasn’t happy about the service how my nails looked and how long I was there so I felt $5 was more than enough. The woman stated to me I needed to pay 20%! I was shocked at someone demanding a tip for their service, ultimately I gave her the $10 bc she refused to put just $5. I will never be going back to this salon, the only thing enjoyable was the pedicure other than that...

Honestly if I can leave 0 stars I would. I’ve never been turned down at any business , but hey there’s always a first time for everything. I called this place to get a last minute appointment and she was able to accommodate me in the next 15 minutes. I got a c section 3 weeks ago so I tried driving as fast I could. I arrived 10 minutes late and when I walked in there were three ladies doing nothing , no clients whatsoever. I walked in and all I was told was I told you 3:15, I apologized and explained the reason why I was a few minutes late and she turned me down. I am someone who will always go back to a business that gives amazing service and customer service , but this place I will never in my life set foot again nor will I recommend it. I use to love this place ! I would always come here for my gel mani pedi but they don’t do designs well and I wanted tips so I decided to find a new place for my hands but wanted to come back here for my feet because they’re fabulous. But today I come here for my pedicure and ask for callus remover and I’m told they don’t have time. Im one of two people in here. I am really upset. I have my bridal shower coming up and wanted callus remover and the fact I was denied a normal service is so upsetting. I’m sitting in the chair as I type this. Still one of two people in here.
