I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the purchase I made for a phone at T-Mobil, I changed my plan with my previous phone company and came to T-Mobil hoping I would get a better plan and phone. Two weeks after changing plans and getting my new phone I left for my vacation out of the country and a couple of days after getting there the phone froze and stopped working. No matter how much i tried to get the phone to work i was unable to have that happen. I returned to the U:S and took the phone back to the store where the staff was EXCELLENT . Alfonzo a staff member and Mario were very very accommodating. Alfonzo did everything he could to assist with the phone turning on. NOTHING worked so it was sent back to be replaced since by this time it was just about two and a half weeks of having this phone. I received a replacement for the newly purchased difunctional phone only to realize the replacement phone was a REFRUBRISHED phone NOT a NEW phone the was suppose to replace the NEW phone I originally purchased with my plan. I am in total disbelief that I would be so disrespected to be sent back a USED REFRUBRISHED phone to replace a difunctional NEW phone. The replacement phone did not come back packaged in the sealed manufacturer's box, It came in a T-Mobile packaged box , it did not have a charger for the phone, did not have the pin that is used for opening up the sim card locator and NO MANUAL OR INFORMATION for use . This is UNBELIEVABLE . I feel totally disrespected and wonder if it was a wise decision I made by changing phone companies. I have never had this happen to me before by any other telephone company. I wanted to try T-Mobile for the first time but I have to say I am vey very disappointed with the product and feels very disrespected by T-Mobile that they would do such an inconsiderate thing by replacing a NEWLY bought phone that was totally difunctional and replaced it with a USE REFRUBRISHED phone. I would like to extend my gratitude to Anthony at the Costco T-Mobile location in Hazlet for his exceptional assistance. He took the time to explain the differences between corporate and satellite stores, and though his resources were limited, he went above and beyond to troubleshoot my issues and guide me in the right direction.
A special acknowledgment goes to Eddy (apologies if I misspelled your name) who works at the corporate store on Highway 35 in Hazlet. After switching from another carrier, I faced numerous complications, one of which stemmed from a satellite location in Middletown, NJ. Eddy's willingness to step outside the conventional boundaries to resolve my issues was truly commendable. His knowledge, professionalism, and understanding helped to keep me calm and confident throughout the process. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to resolve a problem that had persisted since my transition a month ago.
I cannot express enough how impressed I am with T-Mobile and their corporate staff's commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience. I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with T-Mobile.
As a side note, I urge caution when visiting satellite stores for any carrier, as my experience could have jeopardized my credit rating and resulted in a collection notice for an issue that wasn't even mine.

Read moreBuyer beware. T-Mobile has some shady practices regarding their "free" product programs. Went in there in November for the buy one get one galaxy phones. For the offer you needed to activate a new line. Cool was there for a new line in the first place. Added the new line with the required plan. The phone being paid for had to be put on an installment plan. So went ahead and did that. Sales associate assured my wife and I that we met all the requirements for the offer. ( she was correct, my issue is not with the staff at this location they were wonderful) so they say it takes 6-8 weeks for the rebate to process and be mailed out. So here we are almost 11 weeks later and nothing. Call today and they tell me my rebate was denied. Because we never added a line. We did, I'm using that new line to write this. Lady on the phone took a loom at my account and saw that we did in fact qualify and did an over ride to issue the rebate. While doing this she informed me that it was a good thing I called when I did because after a certain amount of time even if it is their error the rebate won't be issued and there is nothing that can be done. Normally I would chalk it up to human error but this is the 3rd "free" product that I've had an issue with. The last 2 weren't as costly so I didn't notice they were added onto my bill until they were almost paid off. It's a shame that a company as large and profitable as this still feels the need to scam...
