St. Rose Square Shopping Center — Local services in Henderson

This is a really nice shopping center. Lots of options for shopping and dining. Costco is right there. It's rather busy at the turn light to get in because of Costco. If you go down a little further it's easier to get into the shopping center without having to wait at a long double turn light. We ate lunch at the Texas Roadhouse and went shopping at Hobby Lobby and picked up food to take home to the kids at In-N-Out. These establishments seem to be less busy than others that we visited in Henderson. We got to Texas Roadhouse a little after 11:00 on a Saturday, and there was no wait... And the In-n-Out, although there was a line, it wasn't excessively long like other locations. We pulled right up to the order taker standing at the entrance to the line. I don't know if it's just the day we happen to be there or the time of day that we had less of a wait. There were a lot of shops to choose from in the shopping center. Seems like you could make a nice day of it, dining shopping and ending with your...

Yet another failure of design. Not nearly enough parking for such a busy center. It would be one thing if I occasionally showed up and there was no parking. But when I'm there day in and day out and there's no parking, it's clearly an indication that the architects and the city did not plan appropriately. It's a shame too because there are lots of nice shops and restaurants in the shopping center but getting in and out of there is such a pain in the butt that I don't really want to go there. Regardless, if you're in the Southwest corner of the Las Vegas valley, this center has of the only Costco's in that area, along with a Boot Barn and several other large chains doors. There are also a selection of chain restaurants in the center to choose from, such as Texas Roadhouse, nacho Daddy and In-N-Out Burger. If you don't mind the parking hassles, it's a nice place. Otherwise I'd avoid it because on the daily it's like trying to park at the mall at Christmas in...

Went here shortly after it opened and had a great meal and great service at very reasonable prices.

Went back a second time this past Thursday and had a bad service experience.

Ordered a steak, medium rare with mushrooms and 2 sides.

They brought the smaller steak, smothered in mushrooms and the wrong sides.

Brought a new steak with mushrooms but it was the wrong size again, cooked medium well, not medium rare and still the wrong sides.

The good news is, the waitress was very nice, apologized repeatedly and didn't charge me for my meal. That's the correct way to handle the situation.

As a result, I will go back but it will be awhile.

Also, three place was absolutely slammed and so loud you couldn't converse with anyone sitting at your table...
