Unfortunately this place just gets worse and worse over time. They have recently started a remodel, hopes were that they would improve the fitness floor by adding more equipment, you often have to wait to use equipment as they only have 1-2 pieces of equipment per workout, or by adding more free weight space, good luck finding a spot, most apartment complexes have better and larger free weight sections. Alas no, they aren't fixing any of those issues instead they are updating the 50% of the fitness floor geared toward their paid workout classes...that's right $159 a month but they want you to pay for the "specialty classes" that take up 1/2 the room on the fitness floor. If you talk to members you will find that many of them have a membership at LifeTime and at LVAC because LVAC has more equipment and a better fitness floor. Let that sink in $159 a month and members spend part of the week working out at a place $20 a month because it's a better laid out gym. Yikes! Today's newest aggravation, but falls right into the culture at Lifetime, is the parking lot. It's usually close to full but today without any warning to any of the guests they shutdown and fenced off 1/2 of the parking lot. Cars circling the lot, cars parked up and down the street, no warning. Maybe this was a bad time to raise all of our rates? When you ask the front desk what is happening they will give you the standard response from LifeTime employees " We have no idea". Yep, that is common at this deeply corporate controlled facility, no one knows or is willing to find out what is happening. To give you an example of the corporate buffoonery you are walking into: A few months ago one of the channels on the tvs was not working so every 3rd tv was constantly flashing, it was very distracting. After a few days I asked the front desk if they could just turn off the tvs where the channel was out, seems simple, if something is broken just turn it off until it is fixed. The woman at the front desk had to pull out an operations request that I had to fill out...carbon copy in triplicate, signed by me as a member that then had to be approved by management and corporate. All of that just to turn off a broken tv. The fitness floor is a constant pain to find equipment, to have space to workout, awful layout geared towards them wanting more $$$ for the special fitness classes but the staff will tell you they are not just a gym so let's talk about the other facilities in this 90's style mini mall. Walk into the steam room right now and look up. I can guarantee in the light fixtures you will see rust and black mold growing in the light fixtures and the surrounding grout. I've brought this up on more than one occasion to management, they always look shocked and appalled but it rarely ever get's addressed, probably lost in a sea of paperwork. Next go and look at the hot tubs, the surrounding drains are covered in clumps of hair and garbage. Maybe facilities doesn't notice but when you are sitting in the hot tub you are at eye level staring at what has fallen off the body of every stranger who was lucky enough to beat out another for a parking space and has made it inside the building. One day while on the elliptical 6:30 am I was asked to get off the machine and find another one to use because the person cleaning the machines wanted to clean the entire row of elliptical's all at once...very odd customer service. This gym is mediocre at best but is being sold as though its for the guest who wants an elite specialized gym experience...this isn't it. Go somewhere else where you pay a mediocre price because you will get it exactly what you expect and are paying for, save yourself the aggravation of the LifeTime facade experience, all tile and no substance. The sooner Equinox builds a gym here the better off we will all be. Vegas is a city built on hospitality and LifeTime is in...

It’s growing exceedingly painful to stomach paying nearly $2,500 a year for this gym. From the blatant mismanagement to a staff that clearly takes no pride in their work, Lifetime is barely worth the drive at this point.
Before I continue; understand that I have apt experience at both the Green Valley and Summerlin locations; and will be leaving this review across all of their directory platforms.
I frequently come later at night and the vibe is clear for anyone coming after 8PM; unwelcome and rushed. Lifetime used to be 24 hours until the pandemic; but despite restrictions lifting statewide - they never returned to a 24 hour operation which is almost mind-boggling given the town we live in and the price we pay for the gym. The staff always announces the gyms closure 5-10 minutes ahead of time (for example, if it’s 11:40PM they say the gym is closing in 15 minutes). The lifeguard staff are almost adversarial towards patrons - often closing the pool areas before the posted times, turning off the outside jacuzzi heat and jets an hour before they’re supposed to be off, turning the steam room off before closing, and forcing patrons to rush through those amenities because of what I’m assuming is a desire to leave work as early as possible.
The gym is frequently a mess at both locations. There are piles of un-racked weights, dumbbells misplaced, and out of place gym equipment scattered across the gym floor. There is debris all of the floor, the sanitizer stations are constantly empty which is pretty gross, and the sweat towels are constantly empty. It’s clear no one takes pride here - how could you run a “premium” gym and leave it in such disarray? Not to mention the locker rooms are often filthy, disgusting showers with hair clogging drains, used razors everywhere, and filth everywhere it can latch onto.
On top of all of this, the staff needs to be trained in customer service. With the price we pay - I shouldn’t be the one engaging with the staff as I walk in. When I pay top dollar for any experience - I expect the service to be impeccable. At the Summerlin location specifically there is a tall staff member at night who I ALWAYS say hello to and he just stares at me. And at the Green Valley location the front desk girls are often too preoccupied with what I’m assuming is their boyfriends to properly greet guests as they come and go. The cost we pay should demand higher service, they need to step it up substantially.
Then there’s the patrons… you’d expect that with this kind of membership, it would keep the undesirable guests out. But there are young ego-lifting kids who throw there lightweight dumbbells on the ground because they can’t control the weight, old men who use pedieggs in the steam room, and a plethora of rich dudes with ILS walking with their nose in the air. As someone who takes bodybuilding seriously, the peers around me are embarrassing and don’t seem to face any recourse for poor gym etiquette.
We live in a 24 hour town - closing the gym at midnight is a joke. If you finish work at 8, you have to rush through your workout and don’t have time to shower. And I’m not the only one who feels this way; I talk to members constantly with the same grievances.
Lifetime members - we need to demand better. Let management know how poor of a job they’re doing. And if our feedback goes unheeded - let’s move up the ladder to corporate.
I hope this review gets across the right desk and some positive changes can be elicited as a result. I don’t know how much longer I’m willing to pay a premium for a subpar experience with a messy environment, no love for the late night gym goers, and poor customer service. Please do something and...

I won't say that they are predatory, I'll just say that it's way harder to be treated fairly when quitting the club than should be true for an "upscale, exclusive, expensive enterprise.
Nice gym, a bit intimidating for those used to "lesser clubs"; nice pools, often busy with a lot of children; relatively clean lockers; not as special as they would like it to be. A nice (nothing special cafe) that is pretty pricey. Some nice free classes but sticker shock is a risk if you prefer a bit of Personal Training or Pilates.
Our experience is that most services with come in at about $100/hr. Maybe thats fair but those fees several times a month for a husband and wife can add up pretty quickly, especially factoring in what has to be the most expensive membership rate in town.
Be clear, it is all about the money here, money for training, money for food, money for supplements constant hawking of product and service. it goes on and on and if that's OK with you then this is your kind of gym. It was OK with us for a while but I prefer to do business with people who show a bit of respect for long time clients. This club did not show proper consideration when my wife and I were compelled to quit for health reasons after spending thousands. Oh yeah, we were Founding Members, signing up before the doors even opened. Didn't matter. How sad. I may have to pay the $150 partial month fee for a gym I can't use but I probably won't and I can only wonder if it was worth nickel and dimeing me if even one person is swayed by this review. I hope many are.
Well, we'll get well and join a health club in a few months but these guys blew it with us. There are too many options around. There is no reason to do business with disrespectful people and a company driven by greed. Look elsewhere, get more respect and get more for your dollar.
Update as of April 2016 - This club is incredibly small minded They had the audacity to go to my credit card company after I contested the partial month payment for time when we had already stopped going to the club. They didn't just let it go. They may get paid by Citi but nobody is going to get paid by me. Be careful with these guys who will try so hard to get you in but don't even have the character to respond to negative reviews. My advice, find someplace much cheaper and much friendlier to train. Everyone is entitled to make a buck...
