I came here for a pedicure with my coworkers on Saturday 11/05. I’m not sure of the name of the woman who did my pedicure, but it was a terrible experience. The pedicure itself was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had- it felt rushed and unfinished. Immediately after my pedicure, my right big toe was red and warm to the touch. It was extremely painful (keep in mind, prior to my appt I did not have any issues with this toe and was not experiencing any pain). I had to push through the pain as I was traveling for work the following day, Sunday 11/06. By Sunday I was limping through the airport and decided to make an urgent appt with a podiatrist at my final destination. Upon being examined by the podiatrist, he found that my toe was infected and he had to remove a large portion of toenail so that he could remove the infected tissue. The podiatrist believes that my toe became infected due to the nail salon using unsanitized tools and then when the nail lady dug down into my nail (which I asked multiple times for her not to do!), she clipped my skin and thus created a wound for the bacteria to infect. I regret going to this nail salon and I’m now on the other side of the country having to treat an infected toe.

The worse pedicure I've ever had. I went back 2 days later for them to finish my pedicure because it was not done to satisfaction and they sent the same person to me and no one checked behind her. I had to go to a whole new shop later that week to get a whole new pedicure. The service was great by her but overall not satisfied. I sat for over an hour after my feet were "done" to get my nails done and I was still waiting and there was no line. There is only one person to do anything acrylic related. I will never go back!

Hands down, Elite Nail Spa has the BEST nail technicians. Vivian is so professional, kind and does my nails to PERFECTION! Best pedicure also! Wendy is also amazing. If you’re looking for a clean, sanitary, peaceful environment that hours your appointment, and also has experienced technicians, this is the place to be! I don’t live in High Point but I travel here faithfully for the experience. Also, the professionalism is top-rated. Simply make a call, sit back… and watch the magic happen. Dr. Joyce

So I came to nail salon before and they did a good job and I decided to come back today... WORST decision ever. To start I wasn't asked if I would like something to drink like everyone else was. On top of that every place I've gone to uses the foil and cotton method to remove gel polish (even the time before they used foil) but for some reason this lady decides to make me soak my nails in a bowl of acetone. I told her I didn't like to soak my nails because it makes them weak but she proceeded to ignore me and do it anyway.

Fast forward to my pedicure, she decides to cut my nails down without even asking me! Then as she's filing my big toe she cuts me with the file and I kindly let her know it hurt. So we get to the polishing.. instead of her neatly polishing she paints all over the place and didn't attempt to clean it up along the way. At the end she attempts to use the brush and acetone to clean the polish off, mind you she cut me earlier so she puts that acetone on there and when I tell you it burneddddd! So I tell her it burns because you cut me and she proceeds to say "I didn't cut you, if I did it would be blood, the file just hurt you." I get that, but the file didn't put itself to my foot and cut me, it was the person using it.

Anyway back to my nails, at this point I'm super annoyed but I'm trying to get through it. She then proceeds to use the drill to file my nails and claims because I'm not getting a manicure she has to do that. What?! I've literally been getting gel manicures for years every two weeks and I've never heard that. At that point I was done. I told her I didn't want my nails done anymore and left. Of course they still charged me the $5 to take the gel off and I didn't even care at that point because I was so ready to get out of there.

(All of this was happening simultaneously)

What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into an experience from hell. I...

Most of the nail techs at this location are very friendly and professional. If I were giving a rave review I would call them out by name, however I can only mention the individual with whom caused a rating of one star.

Here is the issue, Christine. She is compelled to share an experience with another customer she had a couple weeks ago with anyone who will listen. First of all relating an experience that was perceived as negative is very unprofessional, secondly acting proud that she caused a customer not to return was abominable, the character Christine possesses, as well as her lack of professionalism and inherent lack of intelligence is in question. She proudly likes to express that she was tempted "to rip off her eyelashes" in speaking of the customer she blatantly provided horrible service to. That can be construed as a threat albeit not made to the person but rather indirectly.

The world is small and poor character will present itself and come back to whom negative words are spoken against. Furthermore, it speaks to the lack of management and leadership in this business. She talks very loud and others hear her comments, it's bad enough when the techs talk in their native language and in some cases are speaking poorly of the customer. Yes some folks do understand the language. Management needs to stop this behavior, or better yet it should have never been allowed.

Regardless of how good the other techs are I suggest thinking twice before spending your money in this establishment, you may be the next story of negativity to spew from Christina's mouth.

I challenge the owner to rectify the issue and either retrain or terminate, not just make excuses for poor character and veiled indirect threats of...

Summary: great salon, I get SNS with Vance ~monthly, definitely recommend!

So I initially came here with a friend to get SNS (signature nail system) done on my nails. I didn't know what that meant, and I wasn't exactly someone who has ever kept my nails done in my life. Turns out, SNS is a powder polish system that really does a great job protecting the nails and lasting around a month per application. Vance worked on my nails, and I have (despite having never had my nails consistently done before) consistently returned each month to get a new SNS application since then. Vance does a great job and his applications have lasted for up to 33 days (current record across 3 months). It's really helped me grow my nails out more and maintain better nail health, and I really appreciate how much time and care Vance puts into making sure my nails are maintained. I really recommend SNS to people who struggle to keep polish on for long periods or struggle with their nails breaking or fraying before reaching that ideal length. I am certain every nail technician here can do a fantastic job, but I can certainly vouch for Vance as he has been working with me for a few months now.

I'd also like to note that this salon's SNS selection has a lot of color options, including glow-in-the-dark options, so if you're worried about color selection, it's not an issue here. If you like French nails, you can absolutely get them in SNS and they look amazing. I plan to try Ombré next (think a gradient between two colors), which I am certain will also look good at the rate things are going.

Anyways, in summary: great salon, I get SNS with Vance per month and have gone from never having my nails done to planning my next color...
