Person who provided service at the desk was not very friendly, kind of short with me, and completely unhelpful. I asked for help taping a box closed and she without saying anything just handed me the tape gun.
After setting up the package for shipment the total was $575 for two boxes for the cheapest and slowest method possible. I questioned this as i shipped the same boxes between the same two addresses but the opposite direction with fedex for about the 3rd of the quoted price. I was told āsorry thats just what it isā i was told if i set up an account i could possibly get a discount. I went to fedex.com to my already existing account and tried to set up a shipping account with it and got stuck in a loop. I asked her if i could just set up an account in person since i was already there and the website was not working and she told me id have to call customer service.
I took my boxes back and decided to try the UPS store instead.
UPS store helped with everything, was much friendlier, andā¦. Instead of $575 to ship, less than $250. Folksā¦. Thats half the price for the same service and better customer service. $325 less to ship the exact same thing at the exact same speed. It was also much closer to what fed ex charged me to ship this stuff the first time.
I am now convinced this customer service rep at the counter entered the information incorrectly and took absolutely zero initiative to just double check when i mentioned the discrepancy.

I had ordered 25 spiral-bound booklets from a competitor, only to find out on the weekend that they were running 5 days past the deadline and I wouldn't get my order until after I needed it. Before the store opened, I ordered the various parts of the booklet, intending to assemble them myself and return to the store to get them bound. Within an hour of the store opening, Daniel called to check on my order and make sure he understood what I needed and the deadline. He then called back, asking some questions to help assist me in the best way he could. After one final call and a few emails, the store printed, assembled, and bound the booklets and had them ready for me the same day. Unfortunately, Daniel was gone for the day when I went in to pick them up, so I will have to go back to thank him personally. The manager, Amy, was also phenomenal in recognizing this looked like a booklet and not just several sets of printed pages. The two of them and the team at 1760 did everything they could to help me out, did an exceptional job on the order, and saved me. I cannot compliment them enough and will absolutely use their services in the future.

I was not greeted upon entering. When one of the women decided to do what she was getting paid to do, she said āyou need something?ā I proceed to tell her I had a return and she stood there like I was speaking German. I showed her the QR code on my phone and she scanned it (with attitude, might I add). The other woman, while leaning on the counter, proceeded to tell me I needed to tape up my own box. I found this to be lazy and unprofessional. I taped up my box while the two of them talked to each other, acting surprised I upset at having to do their job. Let me add that the package I paid extra to have 2 day delivered was late. Iām at the point where if a company ships with FedEx, I will refuse to do business with them.
