Amazing experience, professionalism, and results!

I first heard about cool sculpting from a couple advertisements I'd seen on social media and heard about on the radio, so I started Googling more about it. I live in California, and never thought about undergoing medical procedures anywhere but California. But after a while of Googling, I came across Spa Trouve's website and something just told me to give it a try -- so I placed the call and before I knew it, I was flying out to SLC!

My cool sculpting specialist at Spa Trouve was Lisa. I had never gotten cool sculpted before so naturally, I was a little nervous as to what to expect. Lisa was both friendly and professional the moment I stepped through the door. She greeted and welcomed me right away, and brought me to my room where she made sure I was comfortable before handing me a set of garments to change into. After I was all settled in, Lisa took the time to walk over the procedure with me and explained to me every step of what she would be doing, before she got started.

Like many other women, my problem area was in my lower abdomen. Lisa first laid a thin cloth over my tummy (which was coated in a sort of gel), then attached the cool sculpting machine to me. If you have never gotten cool sculpted before, this machine will probably be a bit intense! It literally sucks onto your fat and holds it there for about 30-45 minutes, while freezing your fat cells. The first couple minutes is the most uncomfortable -- it basically gives you a slight, constant pinching / burning sensation (sort of how it feels like when your skin comes in contact with a frozen surface for too long) until your skin feels a bit numb.

After the timer went off, Lisa carefully detached the machine from me and gave my tummy a thorough "massage." Let me just say -- if you are extremely ticklish like I am; you should probably brace yourself for this part! It can be a little brutal, but the results are completely worth it!!

It has only been a couple days since I had my cool sculpting done, and I am already beginning to see results! (Just as an FYI, you WILL see swelling before you'll see progress -- just as was disclosed to me).

Lisa and her team at Spa Trouve were nothing but generous, accommodating, and passionate about what they do. I am extremely grateful to the staff here for making me feel welcomed, safe, and pampered throughout this entire processes. Any medical procedure is a little nerve wracking -- especially in an area you're not familiar with. But I am very glad I trusted Spa Trouve with my first cool sculpting treatment.

It pains me to write yet another negative review a year later of this company but my experience has been beyond horrific both times I've visited. A year ago, I scheduled botox cause I had a lot of Alle points to use. For some reason the injector put dysport instead of botox and I had to pay for it which I wasn't planning on nor did I ask for. Not only that, the injector injected the dysport under my eyebrow in the "no-go zone." As everything set in, I noticed my right eye drooping. I had full on pstosis. Upset, I wrote a negative review. The owner called me and apologized for my poor experience. She gave me a $200 credit---which at the time seemed nice but I really should have gotten the entire refund. I then got pregnant so didn't use the refund until this year after the baby. I went in and got $400 worth of dysport (40 units) and had the $200 credit. Well, I'm not sure why it went wrong this time but it didn't take at all. I don't know if it was watered down or injected incorrectly but there was zero difference in my face. I even paid for the eyebrow lift and nothing happened (mind you, I have to get eyebrow lifts now because of the ptosis the last injector gave me which hasn't gone away a year later). I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait two weeks before I went in for a touch up. NO change in my face. I called and scheduled the touch up and they said not to worry, they would do it for free. I went in for the touch up. As I checked out they said I owed them yet another $60. I could not believe it. They said they would only do 4 units for free and not 10 (again, I didn't ask for 10 units! just the eyebrows). Are you kidding me? Now I'm over $500 invested in this which has been a mess on two different visits! I am horrified. I said I was told the touch up was free cause they guaranteed good results. The front desk girls refused and pushed me to pay the $60 and if I had issues, take it up with the owner. Well, here I am. Using my precious time on this negative review after having taken it down last year. It's so upsetting. I feel like there is so much disorganization in the staff or lack of listening, incompetence with the injectors and overall a lack of caring and empathy on behalf of the customers.
