Iām really surprised about the positive reviews with this Victra store. Initially our experience was positive and it felt like they were trying to help. My phone wasnāt working so I went in for a phone and ended up upgrading all four lines on our account because they promised amazing discounts. I was told it was $280 to upgrade a phone. I was shocked and asked how long they have been doing that because the last time my husband traded our phones he didnāt mention that. They said it has been something they have been doing for 5 years but didnāt mention that the cost included add ons so I thought you had to pay that to get the phone. About halfway through they said we could pick cases and that the cost we paid of the $280 included screen protectors. Never once was it mentioned that those were add on costs and I never actually had to pay anything besides the taxes if I didnāt want to. I felt taken advantage and like they pulled an up-sale on me and as I looked at other reviews for victors stores they said the same thing. I didnāt want the chargers they put in there that they claimed ācame with the $280ā but turns out I actually paid for all of it. They promised me a really good discount on our phones since we have been Verizon customers for 20+ years. The discount they said was $22 for all four phones. I was shocked and made sure I heard right by confirming that each line would only be $5.50 monthly. They confirmed. They also said that the cellular charge for the watches would be $5/month per watch which I also found to be a good deal and mentioned we had originally gotten rid of my husbands cellular watch because we didnāt want to pay $10-$15/month. Not only did we not get the watch cellular price on our bill but our phones are no where near the initial price. They credited us hardly anything back and each phone was showing $33/month after the small credits they gave us for trading in our phones. They quoted us at $5. I called Verizon corporate store and this amazing guy stayed with me on the phone for over an hour trying to find me a similar discount. He said the employees at the Victra store are supposed to record the discounts they give to employees so everyone can see it and he couldnāt see anything because they didnāt record it. Not surprised because I felt like they were trying to scam me from the beginning. He eventually found me a discount for $18/month for our 13 proās but itās still nowhere near what the Victra store promised. I will be going in and visiting this store again to get this worked out and then I will make sure I only go to corporate stores because I donāt like how they werenāt transparent with the initial...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I went to set up phones through the store, the salesman Connor told us about this amazing deal where all we had to do was pay for the sales taxes and Verizon would provide phones cases, screen, protectors, etc. at no additional charge, he told us that it would be approximately $290-$300 per phone to do this, once we agreed to do that we got everything paid for and set up. Then upon reviewing the paperwork later, we found out that the activation charges were included as well as the equipment that we purchased and the taxes, even though he told us that we were only going to be paying for the taxes upfront on the first day and that number that he gave us included all these additional things that he told us, we were not going to be responsible for paying for, when we confronted them about this, he began to complain about how this would be affecting his commission, and it would be ultimately, causing him to lose money, so what he was gonna do to make it riot was give us the activation charges back and give us a discount of $140, when I got home from work and my wife and I went over this that really didnāt make sense. It seemed pretty dishonest, so we got online and looked at the reviews for this particular store and found that the majority of the reviews for Connor include him taking advantage of people lying to their faces getting them to sign a contract based on believing they were getting a bunch of things for free and a great amazing deal only to find out later that he got them to pay upfront for things that He literally told them were going to be covered by the carrier themselves, and they were not going to be responsible for it. We are still currently arguing with the store to try and get this resolved and get them to honor what their salesman told us, The equipment and activation waved and just the sales tax but so far, nobody has been willing to help us and Connor, when confronted was very vocal about being concerned about his commission and how him correcting his mistake and lying to us, was going to affect him financially. We also reviewed our bill online and found that the watch lines that he said weāre going to be seven dollars a month also had Not been updated correctly, and we were being charged twice as much for the cellular watches a piece as we were originally told. I would not recommend getting phones at this particular location because their salesman are very concerned with taking as much money from you as possible and trying to hide it anyway they can so they can get away with overcharging you. Shawn showed us all the different plans and pricing, and I ended up staying on my parents' plan and adding my husband to it! Shawn's suggestions saved us a TON of money! The 7 of us ALL upgraded to new phones. It was already pretty late, and we went to the PG store because it was the only Verizon store that stayed open an hour later than the rest. Shawn was by himself and was stayed 4 HOURS AFTER CLOSING TIME to get us all of our new phones and transfer everything over. Almost every single one of us couldn't remember any of our passwords to sync our phones over and had to reset multiple times. Shawn was incredibly patient, kind, friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude and smile the whole night. We felt so bad but are immensely grateful for him. He had every right NOT to be. He even came in the next day on his day off to get my husband's phone situated because everyone to call the night before was closed, and we needed to get his old number transferred.
