I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the server was not welcoming and seemed reluctant to provide us with menus. Throughout our meal, we felt rushed, as the server repeatedly asked if we were ready for the check, even though we had informed them that we were waiting for a friend to join us. This gave us the impression that the staff wanted us to leave quickly.
When our friend arrived, the server once again pressured us for the check, despite knowing we were waiting to order more food. Additionally, we encountered issues with the billing. We noticed discrepancies in the charges when paying in cash, which felt unusual, as typically any payment processing fees are covered by the restaurant itself. Moreover, we requested separate bills, but they were unable to accommodate that request, and we were charged incorrectly in the end.
Overall, it seems that the restaurant, being new, still has some growing pains to address. While we understand that, it was disappointing and affected our overall experience. Hopefully, they can improve their service and customer care...

The waiter seemed impatient and kept hovering around our table, asking several times if we were ready for the check—even though we clearly mentioned we were still waiting for a friend to arrive. Instead of feeling welcomed, it felt like we were being rushed to finish and leave.
When it came time to pay, I noticed they had already added a 28% tip to the total without asking. I completely understand tipping, but as a customer, I believe that should be my choice, not something automatically included. On top of that, I was also charged an extra fee for paying with a card, which most restaurants usually cover. When I asked for clarification, the staff’s response was rude and dismissive, basically implying that if I didn’t want to pay extra, I should just pay in cash.
I understand that opening a new restaurant can be frustrating and challenging, but that doesn’t mean staff can’t be properly trained in customer service and transparent policies. I truly hope they take this feedback as an...
Read moreFirst things first, it was clear that our server didn’t really know what they were doing. They were very nice, but didn’t know how to pronounce poke, didn’t bring us a second bowl for our edamame pods, and weren’t sure where to find the dishes we ordered on the menu.
That said, the food was great. The spicy garlic edamame was the second best that I’ve ever had (a bit spicier and a bit less garlicky than #1). The poke roll was very yummy, I felt like that scene in ratatouille where he eats the strawberry and cheese at the same time. The crunchy tuna roll was great but some pieces were better than others; it was a bit inconsistent. And the acevichado roll was good but I didn’t like it quite as much as the other...
