If you like to shop for your luxury jewelry or watches while a security guard stares you down with a ready to draw grip on his firearm, then this is the place for you. I visited this store today with my brother who was having his watches looked at and after I was ignored at the watch case by a guy on his phone, I started walking back to the service counter. I noticed the security guard with a full grip on his firearm in ready to draw position staring at me. Freaked out a bit I could not stop watching him. I work in the firearm industry and appreciate security as I have worked with Law Enforcement for almost 10 years. As I was waiting with my brother he continued to stare gripping his gun. I wear a gun to work every day and manage employees that do as well. I also deal with 100+ civilians handling guns everyday. After a few minutes I put my hands in clear view and slowly approached the security guard keeping non threatening eye contact. When I got close I quietly stated that by gripping his gun and staring at me it is threatening and offensive. He replied saying "it is offensive that you are telling me how to do my job" I replied "I work with firearms and that is a threatening posture". He replied rudely asking over and over if I was law enforcement. I started backing away slowly and said I was talking to him as a courtesy and I will talk to the manager from here. I reported it to the manager and explained a touch of my background and what the problem was. He appeared to watch the guard for a minute then went back to work. The guard continued staring and gripping his gun. After going back to the service counter where my brother was being helped, we were still being stared at by the guard, and gun still firmly gripped. I interrupted and hurried my brother as I was extremely uneasy with this yahoo a few feet away who was probably fantasizing about getting to shoot someone. The lady helping said, oh he always stands like that. but apologized for him. We got out of there. This security guy not only is alienating customers, but is rude when approached. He is also a liability as he is likely to resort to his gun when its not necessary. I will not be back unless I am informed this guard is no longer employed there or has received proper...

Hands down worst jewelry store ever, my husband purchased a pair of pearl earrings from this store in December of 2011. In 2012 I lost one earring when I returned to the store the earring had to be shipped to New York to find a good match which was fine. When the earring was returned the charge was $200.00 which was also fine. Later in the year I found the original earring that had been lost, so my husband decided to take it back to have a ring made for me. When I picked the ring up I requested an appraisal they stated that the girl was out and that they would get me an appraisal. Which never happened I took the ring back to have the band widened which of course would cost more since it needed additional gold. Which was also fine with me. When I picked up the ring I requested the appraisal again to make sure the additional gold was added, they told me the girl was out and that they would provide me with the appraisal. Which never happened. I then returned to the store to get a replacement earring back which was $50.00 a little pricey but I paid it. When I was there I spoke with the owners son and requested the appraisal again so that I could add the ring to my insurance. I was told for the third time that the girl was out and they would get it to me I left my name number email.... no response. Now a month later the pearl fell out of the ring so........ great quality, I take the ring back to get a replacement pearl and the charge for the pearl alone is now $1750.00. I'm not sure how pearls have inflated so much in a year. My husband went back in to attempt to find resolution but of course I don't have the original appraisal and was told that I need that in order proceed. For a place that sells really expensive jewelry you would think that there would be some accountability and customer service. I also cannot claim this one my insurance due to the fact that I could never add it to my policy because I did not have an appraisal. Beware if you plan to make a large purchase here hands down worst experience. I have many other pieces purchased from Americas Diamonds and Jared's both I recommend highly. If I could give 0 stars I would but that...
Read moreTo Dennis Jewelery,
I very rarely do reviews. But I had to let people know about my Excellent 5 Star experience with Dennis Jewelery! I personally wanted a Rolex Submariner no date. With 3 years saving and researching I finally bought one in excellent condition from a private owner. Last year in August it arrived..So I took it to Dennis Jewelery to have it authenticated and they did graciously for free I might add! So I wore the watch for a year and wanted to get a full service overhaul on it..Rolex service center is 1200.00 to start and usually a 6 week wait..I went over to Dennis Jewelery asked them about there Rolex Service and they said graciously they would be happy to service it for 600.00 and 3 week pick up time..So I agreed with Larry wich I may add was top notch and left my watch with him..He communicated with me from start to finish perfectly!..His communication and professionalism I couldn't ask for anything more..I picked up my watch in 3 weeks as agreed..And the moment I have been waiting for. Wow! Wow!Wow! Absolutely stunning from inside to out..A friend of mine showed me his Rolex after it was serviced at Rolex in Dallas and did not come close to what they did to mine. The high class attention to detail and really having a solid understanding and experience of how a full service should be done..The watchmaker did a tremendous job..I had the watch several weeks and I scratched the buckle so I brought it back to have them touch it up..I dropped it off with the GM on Dennis wich I may add is superb to deal with. Picked up next morning and they said was compliments of Dennis Jewelery! I will always trust and take my Rolex to Dennis Jewelery as they are the best in South...
