We just began the rental on a washer and dryer. Everything has been horrible since day 1. We did the agreement online on May the 8th. We received a phone call asking how we liked our new washer and dryer on may 14th, however, it had not been delivered yet. No one had even called us to set up delivery. We did not get those items delivered until Thursday May 20th. After it was delivered and I tried to use it, it was shaking, and basically walking across the floor. We were busy and could not call them back out. We thought maybe it just needed to be leveled. We go out to buy one and try to level it ourselves, still the same issue. SO we bought a washer mat to help, nope not the issue either. It was a week later, we finally noticed the delivery guys didn't remove the packing bolts. That alone could have cause major damage to a brand new machine that we would have to pay on for almost 2 years!! Fast forward to June 2nd. I received a call from Kate at the Hiram location. I explained all this to her and asked that my payments be moved to June 10th. She kept insisting she needed a debit card on file. That is NOT in the agreement. Even after I told her I would pay on June 10th, due to all the issue we had to begin with, she continued to call non stop! It's harassment at this point. I stop answering. On June 7th, a random Aaron's persons shows up at my house! Seriously!!! I give Kate another call; obviously highly upset. She tells me she had to have a debit card to move my payment. And she sent someone out because she couldn't reach me. Mind you I spoke with her on June 2nd! Then she says she forgot to update the account. It wasn't an hour later she was calling me AGAIN, when i answered, she said oops, I forgot to mark the account you're good. She is terrible at her job. EVERY time she called or I called her, she was on speaker phone, highly unprofessional. I need my payment changed to the 10th, without late fees and her never to call me again. Read moreThe people who work here us usually don’t stay long, nobody communicated to each other. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. The last thing I got was a laptop on clearance. It wouldn’t charge so I took it to them to be fixed. After two months it I get a call it back form the repair. The next the store manager called and started questioning why I haven’t paid on it in two months. I told her, as I had explained to the person I dropped it off too and the 30 different people who called during the repair time, I wasn’t going to pay for something that was broken and wasn’t sure it could be fixed. She proceeded to talk down to me and tell me that NOT how it works. So I lost it and told her to keep the piece of crap.
Explain to me how I can go across the street to Rent-a-center and have nothing but great communication and deal with the same people. I’ve already paid off multiple things there and could never keep anything at Aaron’s or listen to them give my mother-in-law nothing but a headache for her stuff. I refuse to use them anymore. You can’t even make payments on their website, and I’m pretty sure they don’t track how much you’ve paid and try and get more out of you....
Read moreDo not buy from Aaron's. I have bought stuff in the past with no problems. I bought a new living room suit in April the couch was installed wrong. It has cut up my floor. The legs of the couch reclined and will not close. This was a new couch not used. I called the store. They said there repair company would call and schedule an appointment. The repair company canceled twice once was the day of the appointment. They then quit responding. I was told by an employee that management had approved for me to get a replacement. I called back and was told by an employee my replacement would be in tomorrow. Then he gets my name and says the repair company will be there tomorrow. I was not told about this and no will be home tomorrow. The manager says Aaron's does not replace broken furniture. So I will have to wait on the repair company located in Florida that doesn't come to GA often. I then get a call from the repair company that did not know I needed by furniture repaired. Aaron's does not stand behind there products or employees words. They also do not care about customers have broken furniture waiting 2 months plus...
