Riverfront Car Wash — Local services in Hoboken

Been going here for a few years only because it’s close to home. Never had an issue in the past (don’t expect much from an automated car wash and a quick wipe down), however this time around they told me to leave the keys in the car with it running. At the exit side of the car wash the attendant told me to unlock the car and we realized they locked the keys inside. Attendant told me this was my fault which I did not take well considering I was told to leave them in my car. They were able to use air wedges to pull the door handle open but had left scratches all over my door panel. They didn’t want to help me until I didn’t move my car and a supervisor came out and was angry and demanded my keys so he can pull around so they can continue to crank out the cars. Supervisor told me it’s my fault for not having a spare key with me (absurd). He continued to tell me it’s an old car and it has flaws (keep in mind I purchased a 2019 vehicle in 2022, that’s not old.) I live around the block. I usually go to Union City where they the Real car washes are done by hand at a fair price and they actually car for your car, but I took a chance. As the saying goes, "Fool me once shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me." Terrible service, car not dried well, paid for armorall in the beginning and they said that the package I got didn't come with that which btw happened the first time. Vacuum was not complete and interior looked as dusty as when I drove up. Also, BUYERS BEWARE!, I used my debit card here, a card that I usually don't use any where but I decided to use it, I ended up getting a mysterious charge from a company that was suspect according to MasterCard. Not saying I can completely pin it on them but I mean if you put two and two together being that I never use this particular card and the only time I decide to this happens and it just so happened to be there? I came to this car wash to get a hand wash. The manager with the accent was rude and aggressive from the start. I asked him to make sure they get all the dirt off the wheels and calipers. He said I can’t make requests like this, and then proceeded to ask me how I run my business even though I don’t own a business. The guy who washed my car didn’t fully dry it so there was water streaks on the front of it. I asked the manager if you could wipe off the watermarks, but he proceeded to tell me it was acid from the parking garage and it would not come off. He wanted an extra $20 to wipe off the watermark. One of the nice workers there spent four seconds and wiped it off with a rag , it came right off. If that manager with the accent took 30 seconds to help me I would continue to be a customer. He is very unfriendly in a people business, someone I would not want running...
