I have to say customer service has been great with Josh Underwood from Geek Squad I am always so grateful to work with him. I unfortunately can not say the same about the repair services with Geek Squad. I purchased my computer a year ago February within two months I began to have issue with sounds and speakers. I had taken it in for repair with Geek Squad they said it was a software problem. Almost a year later I continued to have same issues, I have since taken laptop in over 6 to 7 times. Each time they have to ship it out which takes about two weeks, they say they fixed the problem but they have not because I continue to have the same issues with speakers and sound. it will be almost a year this February since I purchased the computer I should not have these types of issues with such a new computer. it also is an inconvenience for me since I work from home. Read moreThe customer service is good, but I was completely screwed over. I brought in my laptop, and told them I had an issue with my hard drive. They told me it was a BIOS issue, and I had to pay 100 dollars for the fix. Then I get a call later on saying it was the hard drive and not the BIOS so I'll have to pay an additional 60 to 70 dollars. Then I get a final call (this time from a different agent) saying the hard drive is free cuz that didnt solve anything. Then he says if I offer the phone number used when I first bought it, they can access the manufacturer's warranty, when the first agent said that could only be recovered if I had my father's social security number and ID. Then they wouldnt give me my money back for the BIOS fix because they said when that wasnt the issue they ran a diagnostics check which also was a 100 dollar fee, so they flipped the price when I already told them it was my hard drive. They flat out said free, I thought odd but with every intention to have it fixed there, I unplugged my tower and brought it to the store. Now I was told before, not to go to them because they are shady and not that great but I wanted to give them a shot.
