That was the 1st and last time. I am very disappointed with the way my friend and I were treated at this store. While we were simply shopping, the owner/manager unfairly assumed my friend was stealing. He accused her of hiding items in her pocket and demanded she pay for them, even though she had been standing right in front of the display the entire time, still choosing what to buy.
When he realized he was wrong, instead of taking real accountability, he made it seem like offering an apology was doing us a favor. That kind of attitude only adds to the disrespect we already felt.
This kind of assumption shows a clear lack of respect and professionalism. Instead of treating customers fairly, the staff jumped to conclusions based on prejudice. No one should have to experience that type of judgment while shopping.
I hope the management takes this situation seriously and reflects on how they treat their customers. Everyone deserves to be approached with fairness and respect, not...
Read moreMy experience here was bitter/sweet. Pros is the location was convenient to my address & located in the heart of the city. The young lady with the natural afro was nice in assisting me with my selections. She gave undivided attention and answered all my questions. I purchased a wig, earrings and few beauty products. I got home and tried to wear the earrings and they were operable to wear. I called the store and stated my issues and the same lady who assisted me said I could return them. I went the next day and learned there was no exchanges on the wig but I was allowed to get store credit for the earrings. Welp I was unhappy about not being able to exchange the wig but could with the jewelry🤔 Store manager stated it was on the receipt & I take responsibility for leaving my glasses and not reading before leaving the store. Needless to say I wore the wig because I refused to lose/waste $50. (See below) Overall I was satisfied with the wig and the customer service from the lady who...
Read moreSo I go into this place prepared to buy two separate jars of gel because my whole family is locced. He showed me one that cost $14.99, but it was a huge jar, I put that one back and picked up two separate smaller jars for $6.99 each. He insisted I should consider buying the one jar, but I told him we have to share the gel between three of us and I thought it would be easier to have a separate jar. He said, “find an empty jar and put half of this in it!“ And it made sense because I was actually getting at least four extra ounces out of the larger container for the same price. He convinced me! He gave the suggestion because he knew it would be for locs and explained all the benefits it had. This is my go to beauty supply store...
