If there was a zero rating Iād certainly select it. We paid this man, and were very understanding to a family emergency situation, he rescheduled us 3 weeks later, so we waited, however, that 3 weeks never came. The ceiling fans he installed were never turned on ( obviously itās winter) yet all have dislodged from the ceiling, come to find out, this wonderful experienced electrician ( said sarcastically ) didnāt attach the screws / nuts etc. to the gang boxes, not only that, I have wire hanging from my basement ceiling due to unfinished work and baseboard heating ripped off my wall. I donāt know how this man gets 5 star reviews as I would never recommend him! Ever! Dare to challenge me Bryan, if so, Iāll see you in smalls claims court.
Good try on your response- You definitely didn't advise me of any such thing; its so unrealistic for someone to say, oh, hang my ceiling fans anyway and when they drop from the ceiling I'll replace them and pay to repair my very damaged ceiling.
Reading your responses to those that did not rate your work satisfactorily, you seem to have an answer for everything as opposed to apologizing and rectifying your errors. Additionally, word of mouth has it, your 5 star reviews are bought by you by offering discounts - Who runs their business this way? You did us wrong Brian, period !
As far as rescheduling, you kept pushing us back, day after day, until days became weeks, and then you were non responsive, Pierre started to answer your phone....Stop it Brian, you're looking a fool right now. I suggest you don't respond as I will keep calling you out on your lies and very very poor workmanship and lack of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrian installed an EV charger at my house and I canāt say Iām happy. First, scheduling was painful. I had to chase him over the course of 6 or so weeks and could never pin him down. In the event, he actually did come out the same day after we closed on the house but he acted like he was doing us a favor by āfitting us inā (even said that to our agent). Second, pricing - we got a quote that was reasonable for a residential EV charger installation but another third was added to the price after the fact. The given reason was that he had to buy far more cable length than was needed for the job, but we were not asked for approval, we werenāt offered the extra cable, and the reality is that every local electrical supply (including the Home Depot down the road) sells this cable in one-foot increments. Third, the quality of the work was substandard and not code compliant. The charger required a 60 amp breaker, but only a 50 amp was provided. I was told that there were no 60 amp breakers āwithin 200 milesā, but the next day I found 12 of them at the local Home Depot. I asked why the front panel display on the charger wasnāt working and was told it was broken, but when I cracked the charger open I saw very quickly that the front panel wasnāt even connected. Worse than that, the charger was installed with 4 feet of loose, exposed romex cable coming out of the garage wall and feeding into the charger. Exposed romex, especially in a garage, is a safety issue specifically called out and prohibited by the national electrical code. In the end, I had to hire another contractor to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called them to run a subpanel to a detached garage. Initially speaking, he quoted the price to be around 1500, possibly a couple hundred more depending on the cost of materials. They showed up early to determine what materials were needed but still needed to leave three additional times to get more material (this was a straightforward job, and all material should have been picked up on the first run. Maybe a second if something was forgotten, but not that many) Half the day was spent him driving to get more stuff. Upon completion, he ends up charging 33% more, claiming the $1500 initially quote was just for labor and not the cost of material. However, as I mentioned earlier, he specifically stated on our first conversation that it included materials. I stated this to him, and he claimed how I must have misheard him. I could overlook the multiple trips to the store ( this is why the job took an entire day and I Imagine this is why he overcharged to make up for half a day lost) I could overlook that the panel installed is dented. I could also overlook that while he worked on the main panel he unknowingly disconnected a couple of circuits, which I had to track down after he left (these should have been reviewed before he left) But I will not accept someone who is not honest. I would not...
