This review is a long time coming. I have been upset and waited when I could right without my anger. Here it is.. I decided to board my toy dog with Alii Animal since they advertised suites, TV, cameras in the suite for you to see your pet. All pet parents are nervous when sending their pet kids to boarding especially at a new facility. Well.. right before our boarding appointment Alii informed me there are NO LONGER TV's and CAMERA"S in their suites, since it was not enough electrical. It was to late to find another place to board. We took our dog to Alii... I called the first day, three times since I did not see my dog in the play area. The greeting I received from "KEA" Manger of Boarding, THIS IS YOUR THIRD CALL TODAY. !!! That showed me what she was made of. You can imagine WHAT and HOW I was feeling !! Everytime I called my dog needed another shot of something, I got the point they needed $$$$. I don't mind, it's business, but I have a reputable vet we go to for over 30 years and if my dog needs anything he will get it done. The day before I returned home after 10-days leaving my dog with Alii, I called an spoke to "KEA" She informed my dog had runny and bloody stool. I was thinking WHATEVER !! Something is always wrong needed to be done. I'll be home tomorrow. Well, if my dog just got bloody stool he wouldn't be 2 lbs lighter then when I brought him to Alii. That's a lot of weight loss for a 10 lbs dog. This must have been going on for a while. Which they did NOT even call me. Long story short, they made things sound good and perfect !! IT is definitely NOT A RESORT !! It's individual glass kennels, the place smells unsanitary and I don't see care coming from people like "KEA" who is a Resort Manager. Lead by example.....that is what I would be afraid of. People like "KEA" is a bad reflection and a detriment to any business. Don't be fooled...I found another company in Aiea who truly care and live by the truth. We all want the best for your four legged kids.
P.S. Alii even posted an "OLD" picture on their website with the suite that doesn't exist, which is wrong. False advertising if you ask me. DON"T WASTE your money with Alii Animal otherwise you...
Read moreWe brought our 5 month-old puppy to do a follow up during regular business hours after an early morning vet emergency room visit and right away we were treated rudely and heartlessly. Going to any and ALL lengths to save our helpless puppy in every effort possible to save her short little lived life hear on earth. Financial options weren't even discussed. We were heartlessly and very rudely told in the most sarcastic way that after having to put our puppy down that if we don't come back to claim her remains they're "going just toss her remains straight into the ocean!". How can you even say you care about animals at all if you wouldn't even look her over or even a point in the right direction would've been helpful. Not shunning us and judging just by what you see .
Mind you we return with the payment that was required the very next day and still we were refused service and given attitude . And then to top it off when we had asked for our puppies cremated remains we were told that they should just give it back to us Frozen without having her cremated unless we would have this review removed. Who does that? Who gives somebody back their dead dogs Frozen remains? All in regards to a negative review when this review is nothing but truth because of the experience these unreal and heartless so-called animal-loving veterinarians had given us nothing but horrible service. I literally would not recommend anybody to these veterinarians at all. I would highly suggest...
Read moreI called Ali’i Animal Hospital today around 1 PM because I was concerned about something I noticed with my kitty and they were the closest Vet clinic. From the moment they answered the phone, I could tell this would be a good place to take my cat.
After I had made an appointment with Ali’i (same day appointment) one of my co-workers told me I should call a different clinic that she has used. They asked a few questions and would cut me off before I could even answer. They then put me on hold to see if they had any cancellations. When they came back, they told me they could see my cat in about 2 weeks and if I “thought” it was urgent, I could do a walk in and wait 3 hours.
I decided to take my cat to Ali’i and I’m glad I did. The girl who came out to check me in was the same girl I spoke with on the phone (I can’t remember her name... not because she she wasn’t amazing, but I was just stressed about something serious being wrong with my cat)
While I was waiting outside (due to COVID-19 precautions they were taking at the clinic) I noticed several dog owners picking up their pets from either the Ver Clinic or their Pet Spa. Every single dog that came out was happy and friendly.
Overall, they were so friendly and helpful and I will definitely be bringing my cat back to them for any future needs.
I hope Tillie wasn’t too grumpy for...
