So I came here before they opened, I had scheduled online and although they had delays in opening, they honored my appointment New years eve which is just A+ customer service (not to mention it was complimentary).

I had never been to a dry bar despite living right next to one in LA for 3 years.

I was first amazed at how beautiful it was in there! A gentleman was my stylist (I'm sorry I forgot his name but he was wonderful!). I was seated to look at the styles but being indecisive we went to wash. Comfy chairs, I got the bay breeze shot add-on and the massage was to die for. The stylist was sooo cool too, we chatted about living in LA and Hawaii.

We sat back down and he started by just blowing it out dry. SO FAST. Is it magic blow dryers?! It was GORGEOUS, smooth with a bit of volume, I almost stopped there but I decided to go further and get some curl. He curled my hair like it's not been curled before, soft, and smooth, and I have very damaged hair! It was bouncy and beautiful and SMELLED SO GOOD.

MY HAIR SMELLED GOOD FOR 3 DAYS. IT WAS SO SOFT. I have bleached blonde hair that I do not take care of. This is why I'm going to get a barfly membership.

They're officially open for online booking, and I tell ya - I'm gonna buy all the sprays just so my hair smells like this all the time.

I have a fantastic hair colorer/cutter (Sabre Salon!) but I'll come here just as a pop in spa treatment. Everyone was so nice - If their customer service is always like this, (and my hair always smells like this) then it's well worth it! The staff here is really friendly. Although my appointment started a little late, Andre did a great job with my hair and they charged me fairly, so I have ZERO complaints.

Andre was quick and gave me exactly what I wanted (a normal round brush blowout). My usual place in Virginia makes me pay extra because according to them, I need an extended time blowout because it takes so long to do my hair. However, Andre only needed the normal amount of time to do my hair so they removed the extra fee (even though I booked it!) because Andre didn’t need the extra time. I made sure to give Andre a great tip.

Although my appointment started just a little late, I didn’t leave later than expected, which I really appreciated.

One of my favorite and most useful memberships I have ever participated in. Just knowing I have this option to get ready for special occasions, travel, dates etc takes a lot of the pressure off having to get ready. There are 3 convenient locations across Oahu making it easy to get an appointment when you need one and the staff and stylists are professional and friendly. They use to have drinks that they would serve before the pandemic and I believe that option will eventually return or at least I hope it will! Becoming a Barfly or partaking in their membership provides you with styling appointment as well as a discount on their products and I believe if you have a favorite product of the Drybar that you love to use if you bring it along with you to your appointment there won't be an additional charge.
