Terrible experience. Bad haircut but even worse customer service. I have gotten my hair cut at this location a handful of times and it is usually fine. No major complaints. All I ever get is a trim. I have super long straight hair and my haircut is just a simple cut across and framing my face. This last time I went in, I checked online for the wait time and it said "0 minutes" which was perfect because I was only a few minutes away. I got there and a guy at the front who was getting ready to head out, checked me in. It is a small room and out loud he said my name and got my phone number and I could see myself checked in on the big computer screen. There were three stylists in the shop at the time. One was actively working and the other two were cleaning up their stations and then just sitting in their chairs and chatting. I was a little confused why they sat to chat instead of asking me to come over for my cut but I didn't think too much of it. 30 minutes go by. Still no one has acknowledged me and the two ladies were still just sitting in the chairs talking. Another costumer eventually comes into the store to get his haircut and one of the ladies immediately jumps up and checks him in (to the computer that clearly has my name on it as being next) and then she walks him straight over to her chair for his cut. At this point I am getting frustrated. The one stylist that was actively busy then says "well what about her?". The other two look over at me then back at the stylist and say "oh I assumed she was waiting for your client". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I came in by myself and clearly checked in and had absolutely no interaction with this strange man getting his haircut not to mention my name is on the computer! But your excuse is that you ASSUMED I was waiting for someone else? Throughout the 30 minutes you didn't think to maybe ASK ME while you were just ignoring me and chatting? Nothing? They finally seat me and say the same excuse but I got no apology. She then turns me away from the mirror which I was offended by because it was as if she was actively making sure I couldn't see what she was doing or that she didn't want to look at my face or something. Very disrespectful. I tell her what I want done and she completely isn't paying attention and is not doing what I want or caring about whether things are done correctly or anything. I had to continuously tell her that she was doing it wrong and remind her what I really wanted. And STILL she screwed it up. Like I said I get the easiest haircut but the frame around my face was completely choppy and not at all even or layered correctly. On top of that she was spraying me IN THE FACE directly with the water. NO care at all. Finally I just say I'm done it's fine I just want to leave and she didn't even give me a mirror to look at it. The worst part of all of this was that I went to pay and OBVIOULSY did not tip her terrible behavior and attitude and she just sat there as if she was waiting for something. I was waiting for my receipt and she just kept looking at me and then goes "it says you only charged $26.18" (which was the price without a tip). And I say "yes is that not correct?" and she just mumbles as if she was entitled to a tip after that. I don't ask for much with my haircuts and you don't even have to get to know me or be overly nice. But I do not tolerate disrespect and entitlement on top of a terrible job. Unfortunately, since she never addressed me anyways, I do not know her name but I believe her water bottle say something like "Jules". But I can't be sure what her name is. Regardless, I will never be going back to this location and I truly hope this will help to get your stylists to start showing some respect and consideration for their clients. I am beyond...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām so glad I tried this place on a $9.99 promotional haircut coupon because now I know never to come here again. Online check in was easy and wait time was minimal but the stylist was awful.
I came in for my first post-lockdown haircut. In other words, I hadnāt had a haircut in over a year. I told her I was looking to keep as much length as possible but I wanted her to cut off the dead ends. Ok, simple enough (or so I thought).
Towards the end of the cut, she asks in a scolding tone, āDo you use conditioner?ā I said yes. Sheās silent for a bit before saying condescendingly, āYou should use a leave in conditioner. Your hair is so dry thatās why you have so many tangles.ā I told her that I use both leave in conditioner and hair masks, to which she answered in silence. Trust me, by her tone, she did not mean either of those things in a friendly, helpful suggestion type way. I could hear the sneer in her voice.
I was so embarrassed by her audacity and rude tone that I was just grateful no one was in the salon to hear her make those comments because I would feel even worse. I couldnāt wait to be out of the chair at that point because I didnāt want someone who was that judgmental touching my hair anymore.
Maybe the reason was because I havenāt touched my hair in over a year. The ends are bound to be dry and brittle, no matter how much product goes in it. Thatās why I said at the beginning that I wanted all those bits cut off. I didnāt ask for a rude and judgmental stylist. Iām glad that someone came in for their next appointment because she wrapped up real fast after that.
$9.99 (plus tip because a service was stop provided) for a 13 minute haircut and insults to the condition of my hair. No thank you. Iām only grateful for two things: that I didnāt have to spend the full $22 for that experience, and that I can confidently say, without any hesitation, that Iāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI shared with the first woman that was assigned to me that I only wanted 3ā off of my hair to clean up the split ends but wanted to keep the length. My hair was down to the bottom of my back. I noticed that she was cutting on one side more than the other and had to ask her multiple times to stop cutting on just the one side and to even it out on the other side. When she was done she had cut off about 10ā of my hair or more and the right side was about 3ā longer than the left and was completely choppy and uneven. I had to ask another stylist in the store to come fix my hair. When I asked the second girl for help, the first woman told her no, that sheās got it. I had to insist that she stop cutting my hair to get it straightened out. The second girl did a great job fixing my hair but now my hair is about shoulder length and will take a couple years to get it back where it was before coming in today. Iām happy with what the second girl did, but am really upset about how much length was taken from my hair. On top of that, the first woman kept shoving my head in a rough way for me to either look up or down and made comments about how much gray hair I have. I told her that I like my gray hair and thought it looked nice on me and she just laughed and said, āokā. The first woman that was assigned to me should not be responsible for cutting anyoneās hair at all and should never be customer facing with how rude she is. I wish I would have gotten her name to put it here. She was an older Asian woman with a shorter style hair. DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN CUT YOUR HAIR. The second girl that fixed my hair was very professional and did a fantastic job. If I go back to that location, I will...
