Pro: Reasonably priced; place is clean; plenty of color options; seasonal colors available; towels properly washed even tho worn and discolored; massage seats working; not noisy; workers aren't talking with each other
Con: Hard to find parking; does not accept amex; 3.25% surcharge is applied for using card; rushed work
My experience: Deluxe: Nail tech buffed my nail polish on top when it wasn't even gel where polish remover could've been used (I voiced to my tech that it's not gel, she said, "I know," so that confirms to me that she's aware she's taking the shortcut); nails were cut, but not filed; i got poked by nail nipper; cuticle pusher should've and could've been used prior to using nipper that would've allowed the nail tech to see impurities properly; when French tip was requested, nail tech (1) did not apply base coat; barely paid attention to detail, (2) didn't use the translucent pink under the white tip, and (3) only applied 1 layer of top coat.
Overall, I don't think that proper procedures by state were followed. Also, I'd rather pay extra for a business that is formal and accepts all forms of payment without having to get surcharged BY THEM the amount of American Express transaction fee for using a non-AmEx card yet they refuse to accept AmEx as form of payment which is double-standard to me. Finally, I highly value a business whose workers operate like they own the place. I'm not mad and still tipped, but I probably wouldn't come back due to the complacency and incompetence I've experienced from...
Read moreTerrible terrible terrible. Awful. My friends and I went to get gel manicures and regular pedicures and not one person was satisfied. To start, prices are higher than other locations. Service was not better, quality of products is not better, so what are you paying for?
Gel manicures that are lumpy and streaked. But not to worry about looking at the terrible nail job too long and being angry because they will crack within the day and fall off by the second or third. Pedicures have unpainted sections. This was the case for 75% of the group that had their nails and toes done.
I returned to ask if I can fix my cracked and missing nails and was met with the most terrible attitude. This was what prompted the review. It is understandable to not have a good mani pedi since we are all human, whether skill is still being built or it’s an off day. But to have a terrible and vengeful attitude is a choice and can be controlled. When removing the gel nails, it was like they were taking revenge and trying to file down and scrape away my entire nail. I asked nicely to be a bit more gentle but that further enraged them and she glared and continued on scraping roughly. In fact they did a worst job the second time around, and left black dots and...
Read moreI had a pedicure appointment a couple weeks ago, and when I walked in, nobody greeted me or even acknowledged me until a couple minutes later. It was super awkward because I didn’t want to be naggy or pushy. I asked for a pastel pink gel polish, but she gave me a beige color and said it was the closest shade they had. The finished work was acceptable, but I didn’t get what I asked for. At the end, when I paid and gave her a cash tip, she didn’t even look at me or say thank you. I walked out without acknowledgement from anyone in the salon. I was shocked because everyone else in the salon seemed to be getting decent service, and the other reviews on here have only good things to say. I’m writing this so late because the gel didn’t last long at all, and gel usually lasts me more than 2 weeks. I was hoping that the quality of the polish would make up for the poor service, but I’m very...
