Located next to Rolex on the ground floor. A lot of cool and pretty stuff inside the store. I always find koa wood beautiful and I’m glad there’s a store selling things made from Hawaiian koa that is sustainably sourced (from downed trees).
I was mainly interested in the jewelry and there were a lot of beautiful pieces. I love the linked bracelet with wood and rose gold, very elegant and unique. The earrings were handmade by an artist called Shannon from specially polished wood to reveal its fascinating chatoyancy (cat’s eye effect like in some gemstones) resulting from thin, dense fibers in the wood all aligned in one direction. I’ve seen plenty of chatoyant gemstones, but it’s my first time on a piece of wood! I knew I had to buy and wear them lol. There’s also a more girly plumeria bracelet made from koa as well.
