My family decided to come here for my birthday dinner. Nikki was our server and was great throughout the night. We ordered 4 prime ribs and Nikki questioned if there was enough leftover. She checked if another server and sure said yes. So we followed through with the order. When our food came out, they came out in different batches. They gave my mom mac salad instead of green salad, which mac salad has onions and she's allergic to them. Nikki checked the order and it was input correctly but the KITCHEN incorrectly gave her the wrong sides. They then brought out the next wave of food with my dad and brother still waiting for their prime rib and steak. My brother got his steak which they promoted as a NY cut but it was clearly a flank steak. What kind of NY is less than 1/2 inch thick!? He asked for medium rare but it was fully cooked so we asked for a refire. 5 minutes go by and my dad still hasn't gotten his prime rib. I asked Nikki and she looked into it. She came back stating that the kitchen ran out and didn't let anyone know. She apologized and asked my dad if we can get anything else. She didn't know but my dad was in pain and was there just to celebrate my bday. Instead of making a scene my dad said he didn't want anything. Nikki was being persistent which i appreciated but i knew the situation and just told her that it's fine if he doesn't want anything. She tried and i knew she felt bad, but i didn't want her to upset my dad even more. Back to my brother, he got his new steak and it was still a flank steak and this upset my whole family. Instead of celebrating my birthday, everyone was upset with the horrible dinner experience at this restaurant.

I get that mistakes happen, but this was consistent throughout the night. I know the KITCHEN was to blame and not the service staff. Whoever was the EXECUTIVE CHEF on 8/31 should be disappointed and reevaluated. How do you let that many mistakes slip by on one table? This was a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone here.

Birthday boy here picked up the bill. If it wasn't for Nikki excellent service, I wouldve tipped ZERO on a $280 bill because of the kitchen staff.

Thanks Nikki for the service. KITCHEN staff, fix...

I’ve been here a few times and never had any issues. I love the sandwiches, loco moco and coco puffs. Tonight, my family (visiting from Cali) and I went in for dinner. We got seated and service was good.

The issue came up when we got our food. My father ordered a medium rare New York steak and shrimp. When he got his dish, it was not warm and was cooked medium well to well done. Understandable if it were a cheap, thin steak but it was actually one of the pricier items on the menu. At that price, the kitchen should do a much better job at getting temps right and serving hot food from the kitchen. The server apologized and took the plate away to get a new steak fired for my father.

When it came back, it was a new steak but almost to the texture of a cube steak…with the lines a cube steak has. He took 2 bites and was done. The server came back once to ask if everything was alright after we were all done, not taking notice of the uneaten plate (less 2 bites).

I would expect a manager to be doing figure 8’s and making there way around to touch tables that had problems with their order. Didn’t see one at all. Wasn’t asked, “is there a reason your steak is practically untouched?” Just, “do you want a box for that?” I figured the dog could eat a $50 steak and took the box.

Went to the bathroom to see the floor puddled with water and paper towels on the floor. I was scared the hand washing sink was mistaken for a urinal with all the bubbles in it.

I like liliha bakery but had just been telling my father how great the place was, only to be treated like we were eating at a fast food joint where you take what you get and don’t say anything for thoughts of something being done to the food in the back of house ala the movie “Waiting”. I’d usually get some coco puffs to go but as we were walking out, I noticed the manager (wearing a black jacket with gold buttons) speaking to the host and when we were seen, she faced her back to us. Almost as if it were done to not have to hear what the service might need some coaching points on.

Will I eat here again…I do live here and love the coco puffs but I think that’s all I will be getting here from now on for the...

I'm rating this as someone who has Celiac disease. We went here for dinner on 3/3/2022 with a friend who lives here. They have an entire restaurant connected to their bakery. I already know that a bakery isn't going to be gluten free, but surely I can find something on the menu. I told my waitress about my celiac and asked if there was anything that I'd be able to eat. She straight up said that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. What? She didn't even bother to check with anyone in the kitchen. I asked if I could just have a Cobb salad without croutons to make it gluten free. She said I'd have to get ranch dressing if I wanted to avoid gluten. I said that if I could only have ranch dressing, I'd have the grilled chicken rather than the shrimp. For some reason the chicken and shrimp price on the salad are the same. My husband's ($18.50) 3 piece fried chicken meal came out, his friend's steak and eggs ($19.75) with upgraded fried rice ($1.39) came out and then... Nothing. The kitchen forgot to make my Cobb salad. The waitress asked what I ordered again and I said the gluten free chicken Cobb salad without croutons. I could hear the kitchen apologize and out came my $20 chicken Cobb salad with the chintziest piece of chicken and some sort of oil dressing. I have no clue what the dressing was or if it was even gluten free. It was a total rip off for $20. My husband and his friend were super happy with their meals and guava plantation teas ($4.95 - no free refills and they're almost all ice,) but my meal and experience wasn't good. This is a super touristy area in a high end mall. It would be nice to have a few items that are marked on the menu and don't have gluten. We celiacs need to be able to eat something while our friends and family enjoy the full menu at these places, rather than feel like an afterthought.
