Macy's — Local services in Honolulu

Macy's along Kalakaua is a wonderful experience. Offering surf-style clothes that are only available at this store and maybe Ala Moana, and Maui stores. I went there for my daughter and ended up picking up some Limited line Quicksilver Waterman collection, for my self, that I have not seen even on their website. Ask for the Hawaii exclusive stuff. Pretty cool. Also very well made and very nice fabrics.

As far as the daughters clothes went kinda of the same. She said that she had not seen the clothing offered here anywhere on the mainland. So there is some really great stuff if you like the laid back island look.

Also of note we're, special to Hawaii, backpacks, sunglasses, clutches and other baubles.

Super fun store to check out and it's within easy walking distance of all of the major hotels. (maybe Uber or Taxi home with all your purchases). This store is not as large as Ala Moana but offers some beach lines that you may not find at Ala Moana.

I end up always shopping at the Macy's on Kalakaua when I either drop by Waikiki or stay here for a staycation. Brightly lit store with clear spaces and signs for the different departments like Men's and Women's clothing, etc. Staff here are friendly and attentive, and several were kind but not intrusive in how they asked if I needed any help. The store looked very well kept.

Things always seem to be on sale here, especially now during COVID-19 (still, expect to pay a lot for their more premium items and brands).

Don't know if the fitting rooms are still open, but I was able to get in and out quickly as I had what I wanted in mind and knew what would fit me ahead of time.

Huge thank you to Vilma, at the perfume section of Macy's, for making my trip to Hawaii even more memorable . I stopped by the store once before in hopes of finding a specific perfume. Unable to find something similar , I didn't purchase anything . Second trip to Macy's , in Sept 12/2023we met Vilma! Who not only upsold us on the product but also on her personality and customer service skills !She was so helpful , kind and knowledgable .
