Aloha people of Hawai'i! I never write reviews, however, I would like to share my experience with all of the LOCAL people that support Manuheali'i. I had an amazing visit on Easter Sunday! I went back to the store to pick up my dress on Wednesday with all of the excitement a human could possibly have, I get there, walk in to frowns on the faces, exuding irritation that people are still coming in at 4:45pm, the store closes at 5:00 pm. I ask for my dress and some older lady pushes the curtain and say oh "this thing"? it has been sitting here forever, mind you it was brought from Kailua on Monday. I spoke to the store on Monday when it arrived and asked if it was ok for me to come get it on Wednesday since I get off of work at 4:30 and live in Kaimuki the traffic is a tad bit light due to keiki getting out of school earlier. I was greeted with annoyance , rudeness, and employees that made me feel as though, either I should not be shopping there or they just simply hate their jobs. I paid $120. for a dress and was so in love with it, I couldn't wait to pick it up. My family told me NOT to shop there because the females that work their are sassy, I replied "oh no no" i had an amazing experience and help on Sunday, but Low and Behold, I was helped and greeted by " sassy and unhappy" females. To YOU Ladies that helped me I pray for you and ask the Lord to help teach you to serve the community of Hawai'i properly and should you feel as though you are unable to, then that store is not a place you should be working at .Not to mention we pay pretty pennies for your clothing. We are Hawai'i and we were taught by our Kupuna to serve with love and grace. Show and Share...
Read moreA small boutique with amazing Hawaiian prints with modern design and varieties which makes it a favorite for both locals and visitors alike because it is tasteful and not tacky. I appreciate the fact that it's not located in Waikiki or other parts of town which would make parking inconvenient. (They have their own parking). Like many items of quality, the price would be steeper than more commercial brands so get ready to spend at least $70-80 per piece minimum. They make amazing gifts, and they also wrapped the items nicely ready for your loved ones. They also sell other merchandise like hats, jackets and...
Read moreAll the workers at both stores were so kind and attentive. They helped me get all the men's and child shirts and women's tops we needed for our daughter's wedding. They called the other stores and held the item for me. I even had to exchange sizes, and they held my top for me. The next day, I was able to switch the tops. The process was seamless and easy. I love...
