LOVE this spot! It can be so much harder to find healthy restaurants that have a lot of veggie based options than expected here. Not only do they have plenty of tasty options to choose from, but they are DELICIOUS! It was so hard to choose what to get out of all of the yummy sounding menu items. I got the veggie wrap- which was MASSIVE and so so tasty + filling for a veggie wrap - I could honestly EASILY eat this every day! Also opted for the vegan pesto as the dressing which was incredible! (Had a bit of a kick- which I love). My friend got the Farm Gone Wild salad which was delicious and super packed! The folks here really load up these dishes with the fix-ins! (Which is good to make these meals actually filling for being fruit/veggie based!) We also both got a ginger shot and a Pineapple Express shot- these were good and itâs very cool they actually make these. The service is FANTASTIC- all of the staff is SO SO friendly, kind, accommodating, etc. Parking is quite a bit more plentiful and easier than anticipated for this area! (Parking lot w/ validation from restaurant, even if it was full you could just park across the street at WalmartâŠ) I cannot WAIT to be back! One of my new...
Read moreHiBlend quickly became one of our favorite spots in Honolulu â we came here 6 or 7 times during our 10-day stay! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and refreshing.
We ordered the Berry Banana, Pump You Up (with peanut butter added), and the AçaĂ Shake â all made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every drink.
We also had the salmon and bacon sandwich, which comes with a small side salad â so good that we ordered it again! The açaĂ bowl was another winner â perfectly blended and beautifully presented.
Parking is convenient with a few metered spots in front and more along Kaheka St. There are about three outdoor tables and a high-top with four chairs â cozy but comfortable. The cafĂ© is located on the Kaheka St. side, even though the address lists King St., so keep an eye out when youâre looking for it.
The owners â Miles, Joey, and Jason â are so friendly, and their staff is always on top of things, making sure everyoneâs taken care of. We love this place and highly recommend it for smoothies, juices, sandwiches, or açaĂ bowls when visiting Honolulu. They...
Read moreThe good: The sandwiches are tasty, and they come with a great side salad.
The bad: Pretty awful staff attitudes, slow service, very high prices, and they aren't open for dine-in (even though they've annoyingly told Yelp and Google that they are). And the acai bowls are over-frozen and nothing special.
One example of bad service: They charge 25 cents for take-out bags (which is fine), but they never offer one before charging you, and then when you ask for one afterward, they'll only accept cash ("sorry, $5 minimum for another credit card purchase") which we never have, and they're unempathetic about it (pointing to a small sign as if everyone would magically notice). This has happened to friends and to me multiple times, and we keep forgetting to ask because it's not obvious.
I've started going to Hawaii Hiking Cafe instead most of the time. You can eat there, they're friendly, the pricing is more reasonable, and the service is amazing. Similar food, but even...
