Niu Soft Serve Parlour is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating!

First and foremost, the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality set the tone for a delightful visit.

The cleanliness of the parlour is impeccable. It's clear that they take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which adds to the overall positive experience.

One of the standout features is the available parking lot. In a location where parking can sometimes be a challenge, this convenience is a real plus. It makes enjoying their delicious treats even more hassle-free.

Speaking of convenience, the location itself is easy to get to. It's a hassle-free spot to visit, whether you're a local or a tourist exploring Oahu. You won't need to navigate complicated routes to satisfy your soft serve cravings.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the soft serve ice cream! The flavors at Niu Soft Serve Parlour are nothing short of fantastic. I had the pleasure of trying Ube and carrot cake, and both were a burst of deliciousness. But what takes it to the next level are the toppings, especially the toasted macadamia nuts. They add a delightful crunch and flavor that elevates every bite.

The sundae creations here are works of art. The creativity and attention to detail in each creation make them as Instagram-worthy as they are tasty. It's a true treat for both the eyes and the taste buds.

Now, here's the surprise – this soft serve is vegan! Without being told beforehand, I would have never guessed. It's a testament to the quality and taste they've achieved. It caters to a wide range of dietary preferences without compromising on flavor.

I sincerely hope Niu Soft Serve Parlour becomes a permanent establishment because it's a place worth revisiting. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it leaves an impression that lingers long after you've left. I'm already looking forward to returning when I come back to Oahu in a couple of years. It's a sweet spot that deserves its place in the hearts of dessert lovers. Five stars...

This place is dangerous. We go almost every other week, and it's become common in our household to just go "Niu?" "Niu." What's great is that their soft serve is vegan, so you don't feel heavy or sickly after having this delicious treat.

A few things about this soft serve joint that stick out. First they have their tried and true OG flavors of ube and niu, and the swirl mix of them is just a classic combo. The remaining 2 flavors are in constant Flux, and it's always a treat to discover what new concoction these geniuses come up with. Some of my favorite special flavors include: pandan, Thai iced tea, black sesame. Sometimes they'll also have pints of the flavors ready for purchase in a chest freezer. They also have shakes and malts, which the ube cookies and cream is actually my default order every time. It's not too sweet and has the nice crumbles of oreo in it with malt powder sprinkled throughout.

The store recently redesigned their layout, and it's cool to see more baked goods and other drink availabilities. They are super dog friendly and will give a pup cup for your fur babies. They also have a loyalty stamp card, so be sure to ask for that. My only need...is for them to have extended late hours so I can enjoy when I get those late...

I came here because the soft serve is dairy, free and vegan but if those words turn you off, they do not taste like they are dairy free or vegan. Their soft serve is creamy and smooth and the flavor is delightful. The staff is extremely helpful and even offers you a taste in case you were unsure of what flavors to have. I came with a group and ended up ordering sweet cream with fruity pebbles. The serving size is quite large for what you get and the staff will actually bring out your dessert to you rather than you waiting for your name to be called it was pretty empty when we went so it didn't really matter, but if it's crowded, it would be very difficult to hear your name so having your food brought out to you was very nice and a great touch. There are a few tables to sit inside however, it can get busy and end up getting pretty busy while we were there. Even with the hustle and bustle of the ice cream crowd, it was never so noisy that you couldn't hear your table talk. As for parking--There is plenty parking outside too so if you're anxious about parking, no need here. This queen ice cream shop will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. It's...

Wow. I got the Hot Kulolo sundae and it was one of the best frozen desserts I've every had. The flavors of the ice cream combining with the hot kulolo sauce, with the macadamia nuts punctuating the texture was absolutely divine. The dairy-free ice cream was so light that I felt like I could eat 4 sundaes and not feel bloated. I’ve been back to try their shakes and their miso cookies and both were delicious as well. Can’t recommend this place enough. @Cristian Ramirez the business owners cannot increase the physical size of a space they are leasing. The staff are making good use of their limited space, as 5 tables and 2 bar seats is pretty good for a hole in the wall ice cream parlor. I’m not sure what exactly you were expecting, but here in Hawaii we don’t have ice cream parlors the size of Walmart. @Takeshi Miyagi what are you talking about? The line was out the door when I went. Of course prices will be higher here since this is specialty ice cream -- the fact that it's dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan should have tipped you off to that. If price is all you care about, you should have gone to McDonald's.
