I went in to see Dr Katherine Hunt a few days ago for my yearly checkup, I have been seeing her for approximately three years now. I originally had to change doctors due to Insurance changes, but so glad I found her. I have extremely dry skin, that in the winter has the bottoms of my feet and tips of my fingers splitting and cracking open from dryness. My whole body will begin to get so dry that it flakes. Dr. Hunt has been helping me, with this lifetime problem I have. She just asked me to change the skin care routine I was doing, and I am extremely excited to see if this new Glycolic body wash and lotion will help in my battle against my dry skin. Dr Hunt found a suspect mole and removed it, this visit as well. And, I now have Rosacea, hyper pigmentation, and small busted veins oh my face that all can be treated with a BBL Laser. I was given information on this, by Dr Hunt and the results look amazing. I do want to try this, maybe after summer is over. I highly recommend Dr. Hunt she and the practice are really helpful and are on top of the new treatments available. That is what excited me, maybe one day something will come out for this horrible skin of mine....
Read moreI have been bringing my son here for the last year. Getting an appointment is tough, but I was willing to wait based on the reviews and friend recommendations. Unfortunately after the treatment I experienced today, I can say this place is not worth the wait. I made an appointment over a month ago for my son just to get some warts frozen off. Our appointments last all of 5 to 10 minutes. My sonâs bus arrived late to the bus stop due to inclement weather. I called the office to let them know I would be at the most 15 minutes late and they tried to cancel my appointment!!! While I was losing my cool with the office manger over the phone my sons bus drove up so I said I could be there in 5 minutes. I was able to keep the appointment. During my sonâs visit the provider (who I will not mention by name) called me out in front of my 7 year old. She said I should have made a later appointment, not so close to school dismissal time (like I had an option to do this or something). Then she added that sometimes kindness goes a long way and that I should âdo betterâ next time. Wow!!...
Read moreCame in for a wart. They told me one treatment could be $600 if insurance doesnât pay. I asked if they could run my insurance to find out. It was a whole ordeal. They came back saying they couldnât find out. I left with a cream prescription that didnât work. I contacted someone on the website and requested they run my insurance to find out. They did and told me it would be $60 with my insurance. Not sure why they couldnât tell me while I was there in the office. But at that point I was home with the cream prescription and didnât feel I should make another appointment for some other inconvenience to happen.
Seems they were judging me and didnât want to put the effort into finding out if my insurance (or I) could pay and just pushed me out. Thatâs ok. My business and healthcare went elsewhere.
There was only 1 staff member that was kind and helpful- Nikki, Nicole, or Natalie. Forgot her name. The doctor I had seemed kind and friendly- Just not sure why she couldnât put a little more effort into pushing for my insurance to be...
