Four woman all behind the counter yesterday afternoon. One woman waited on a gentleman as I stood behind him next in line..the other three continued to talk and even made eye contact with me but continued on talking instead of helping me. The gentleman left and the woman walked away from the register leaving me standing there with items to purchase. I stood there listening to them talk clearly ignoring me and finally one decided to acknowledge I was standing there and waited on me. This isn’t the first time I’ve been in this Hallmark and it seems none of these woman know what they are doing or care about their customers. I honestly don’t buy cards from Hallmark stores anymore and this is why the customer service is terrible. I only went because I needed to get the 20th Anniversary Snowman blanket for my mother in law before it sold out. When someone is standing in front of a register acknowledge them and ask them if they are ready to check out or need help don’t continue to hold a conversation and ignore them. If I hadn’t had needed the blanket I would have walked out..train your staff better that kind of service wouldn’t be acceptable...

If you sign up for their free membership program, you can save on your first purchase plus their are incentives for joining. The cashiers were friendly and very helpful to my elderly mother. I appreciated our visit to the store. It was quick and fun to just browse and look around for neat gift ideas for birthdays or holidays.
The only caution I have is for people who are in a wheelchair as there may be some difficulties navigating through the display tables in the front of the store but I'm sure the staff would be more than willing to...
Read morestaff have a horrible attitude and don’t want to be there or care about their customers at all. one lady was checking out in front of me and she wanted to use a coupon so she gave it to the employee and asked nicely to use it. the employee responded with “well you didn’t spend enough soooo no” in a very rude manner. the customer was definitely a bit shocked and offended and said “ok well there is no need to be nasty about that” and they argued back and forth until the employee finally said “i am sorry please accept my apology”
this is not the first time i witnessed rudeness in this hallmark. employees should be taught...
