At long last, I was able to stop by The GOAT! I have to say, I was expecting great things because, I love the sister restaurant, Santorini so thoroughly! The Goat didn’t disappoint! Very pleasing atmosphere. Wonderful, knowledgeable and perfectly attentive staff. I was pleased to see some familiar items and excited for the menu! Portions are ample and truly delicious! I am already looking forward to my next visit! I kept it pretty simple today, with traditional options. Hummus and Fresh made pitas were outstanding. The Chicken Shawarma seasoned to perfection and cooked so well! I am not a fan of chicken (eating more chicken for my health, lately) but this was juicy and expertly seasoned with warm spices. The cabbage slaw was tangy and fresh! Let’s talk tzatziki!!! Listen, it is off the chain! Give me a straw and let me get comfortable! Finished with the lemoncello cake and it was just the right light and tart finish to my meal. Ate half of everything and have another full meal for later! Santorini Greek Restaurant doesn’t need to worry, I will split my visits between the 2, because I must have the moussaka and the Pasticcio ! The Goat has made it to my top 5 list in Arkansas!

We were so happy to have found this jewel of a restaurant on our trip. It wasn't on our list of recommended places as first timers in Hot Springs, but we will definitely add it to our OWN list to share with others. The portions were huge, food was fresh and flavorful, and the tzatziki was delicious. Two of us (one a BIG eater) shared the Horiatki Salad (no lettuce), Avgolemono Soup Lambchops, and Loaded Fries. That was a lot of food, but we finished all but some of the salad. The soup (which I really didn't think my husband would like because of the lemon) was delicious and subtle, and the salad was crisp and fresh. Lamb chops were very good and came with yumy rice and a beautiful side of fresh roasted zuchinni and yellow squash, but the loaded fries were AHmazing. It was a pile of crispy fries covered with gyro meat then smothered in tzatziki and feta, and they were so addicting. They were definitely a whole-table appetizer or a large entree for one average appetite. It was all delicious, and actually better than the dinner we had the night before at a place that cost double. Great pick!

I waited a day to leave this review because I wanted to let the experience at GOAT sink in first. I want to say this could have been a 5 star review if it weren’t for a service issue that was pretty bad. We were sat immediately when arriving yet it took almost two hours for us to finally get our food. We had a server that was less than mediocre who left us for long periods of time and would not take our orders. We just kept hearing “will be right back”.. she then brought my friend a martini when he ordered a margarita. After we felt this was getting to the point where it was unacceptable, my friend went to the bar and asked if someone could take our food order. A new server (Britney) was awesome. She tried very hard to bring the evening back to a positive experience. There were some issues where we felt management failed as well, but I will leave those out as it’s possible they were confused by what they were told by original server. On a positive note, the food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the fresh flavors and preparation. See pictures.

Start with the good the food was amazing. Red lentils soup, lemon grass chicken soup, and salmon platter. The chicken shwarma flavor was great a bit dry but the sauce made up for it. I would definitely get it again. Now the bad service was beyond lacking. If the staff paid as much attention to the guest as they did thier phones, smart watches and the unkempt bartender i probably would have tipped more. I watched a few people leave that where sat at the bar due to the "bartender" sitting at a guest table talking with them. She was at that table for a solid 20 minutes neglecting her job. She was also the only one that seems a Coors original shirt is the best work shirt. When everyone else had on company shirts. I've been to lesser restaurants and the bartender was far more professional. The staff treated her like she was running the place. If that is the case I most definitely will not return. It is really sad to give this place such a review. My family highly recommended it. My daughter said that the service was different tonight verses the other times she had been there. Perhaps it was an off-night but the staff didn't even bring...

The food was very good. The lemon lentil soup was amazing and the gyro was very good as well. We absolutely loved the tiramisu! I did take a couple stars off on service because when we went there last night, we were waiting around and nobody was there to direct us to a table. I finally had to go near the service entrance where I saw the person that’s supposed to be a greeter texting on her cell phone. I wanted to let the owner know this happened because That’s just not cool if she’s gonna use her cell phone she can use it out in front of the front door where she can watch her people coming in I feel like she completely abandoned the front area there to go and text or use her cell phone or whatever but it took us calling her attention through the double doors going into the service area. I hope you show this to the employee that was responsible for this. Please put your phone down and watch for people coming to the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant deserves so much more. It’s a lot of money to have and maintain a restaurant. They need you on your a game. The waitress was wonderful and...
