Tried to come when the mall opened but culture shock was still closed at 11am, so had to divide my time elsewhere momentarily. The store opened around 12, which is over an hour late of schedule.
When I came in it was nearly empty with two female employees (a young thing girl and older sagging woman w/black hair & a hefty build) complaining about the profession. When I inquired about a product from the older woman, I was met with rudeness and a reluctances to help as she lazily carried herself to the product wall. She had been at this culture shock location through all the changes and store movements for a very long time and near the beginning of the store's opening. I did not expect this behavior from a well seasoned employee yet alone a fully grown woman.
Limited product, high prices, opening late, and rude employees does not help a store grow or bring in customers. The old rude employee I had come across seemed as if she was looking for an altercation, a reason to quit, or a reason to get fired. But neither of those things will happen. With her limited skill set and as far as I can tell a lack of education, she will stay at culture shock and be unhappy, because all she knows how to do well is stand behind a counter.
Gave an extra "star" in the review to the young female employee who had helped me after, and all the other kind employees that helped me during my prior visits. Hope the next time I visit...

Heres the long story: I offer negative reviews to get the owners to consider fixing problems created by poor policy or rude staff. If the store chooses to correct the mistake I remove the review and have even left positive reviews.
This store didn't train their employees in basic customer service, didn't provide them with basic rules for how they buy cards (1 paragraph written by the phone), and prices the cards they do sell way over market without providing a condition statement on card/sleeve. (I was in store with my kid a few weeks back and called today 11/1/2024).
The owner, then called me on the phone and had the audacity to call me crazy for pointing out the flaws in a business in a review that I can alter. Not sure if they understand how the internet works or not but I hope they take the chance to apologize and things...

Throws sealed blooming waters box on the counter being inconsiderate. She tells me an overall price for everything and I ask for what sheās giving for each product and she told me ādo the mathā. There was a younger woman who was helpful to us previously but I just never had as bad of an experience until I met this lady who āhelpedā me today.
