I recently had the pleasure of attending a guided meditation session led by the remarkable Jude, and I must say it was an absolutely transformative experience. So much so that I signed up for the unlimited membership after my first session. From the moment the session began, I could sense Jude's profound knowledge and passion for guiding others towards inner peace and self-discovery.
Jude's soothing voice enveloped the room, instantly transporting me to a state of tranquility. His gentle and deliberate instructions effortlessly guided my mind to a place of deep relaxation, allowing me to let go of the stresses and worries that had accumulated throughout the day. His calming presence and genuine sincerity created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of trust and openness among the participants.
Throughout the meditation, Jude artfully wove together a tapestry of imagery and mindfulness techniques, leading us on a captivating journey within ourselves. Each step of the meditation felt purposeful and well-crafted, as if Jude had tapped into the essence of our individual needs and desires.
The session left me feeling refreshed, revitalized, and deeply connected to my inner being. His guidance enabled me to unlock hidden insights and find a renewed sense of purpose and clarity in my life. I emerged from the meditation with a newfound sense of peace, as if a weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
Jude's expertise as a meditation guide is unmistakable, but it is his genuine compassion and authenticity that truly sets him apart. He radiates a genuine desire to help others, and his commitment to creating a safe and nurturing space for self-reflection is truly commendable. It is evident that he has devoted countless hours to his own personal growth and spiritual practice, allowing him to impart his wisdom with grace and humility.
My experience with Jude's guided meditation session was nothing short of extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend his sessions to anyone seeking solace, clarity, and personal transformation. Whether you are a seasoned meditator or just beginning your journey, Jude's guidance will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact...
Read moreI have been coming here since the end of 2023 and enjoyed my experience at the beginning. However, due to some changes at Current Meditation, I made the decision to cancel my membership and was stunned to hear I would have to pay $200 upfront to walk away or would be required continue paying my monthly fee until November, four months from now. I have been a member at several subscription-based studios around the country and have never been told it would cost me such a huge sum to cancel my membership, nor been told I must continue paying a monthly fee for a service until the end of the year. I did not realize I had signed up for a 6-month program because I have been charged month-to-month since December. Upon reviewing my contract, I see that Current Meditation has a six-month membership during which you cannot cancel your subscription. However, upon examining my contract, I do not see any mention of a $200 fee for cancellation outlined in their policy. The only fee explicitly stated is a $26 fee for a missed class. Being told I would have to pay $200 upfront felt extremely predatory and I'm super disappointed to see inconsistencies in their cancellation policies (again, I do not see this policy in my contract which was signed last year) because I used to really love attending sessions here. It felt like a safe, sacred place for a while. Additionally, the person I spoke to did not ask me why I was going to cancel, or offer up a discussion on what issues may have prompted my decision. There was no concern - likely because he knew he was going to make $200. This kinds of dynamics are exactly why I want to cancel my membership. My main reason for sharing this is to advise everyone to read their contracts and make sure they understand what the various fines and fees are BEFORE signing up. By being thorough and asking good questions, you can ensure you are not blindsided by confusing, conflicting...
Read moreApparently front desk staff gets to pick and chose who gets to come in late and who doesn’t. A young lady with really short hair who works reception let me know to come in by 12:05 because someone else was going to come in late as well. She didn’t allow me in once I arrived. I did hear her in the office room asking someone to cover for her because she was having some type of emergency after she denied my entry, which, if she had any emotional issues she should have kept that at home instead of throwing it out at a customer that had been around longer than she has worked there. Management/owners should consider retraining front desk staff so everyone receives equal treatment. I will not be returning because of their not complying with their own terms of business.
Update for mgmt/owners: What a disappointing response. The girl at the front was the only employee present. There were no other “team members” present at the front or hub who were aware of what was going on because everyone was inside the meditation room. I called the employee to ask if I should go ahead and turn around to go home and she stated there was another person running late as well, that’s where the pick and chose comes from because she told me to make it by 12:05, which was done. I was never once asked to lounge at the hub as a member, and the employee was extremely impolite until it was time for me to walk out. I never had this issue with past management, or receptionists. Plus, I still think all the guides here do an amazing job. 0 professionalism on being biased in part of an employee instead of sticking to policy. No need for a call...
