been coming here for like 18 yrs. i think management or owners changed cause i havent been in a while and didnt recognize any staff this time. we were one of maybe 5 tables there. i got fried rice with crabpuffs and wonton soup. broth was pretty bland and clear, its never been my fav here but i like chicken wontons enough. my crab puffs were awful. the crispy part was so hard. and my fried rice was so bland, with dry chicken. i said sorry but this is super bland and the guy just stared at me like a deer in headlights. i said the crab puffs were hard and he asked me if i wanted a spring roll instead. i wanted edible crab puffs. they brought back my rice and it was slightly better but still bland. my uncles food was way better with pretty juicy chicken. we took our time but towards the end i didnt see the waiter for over 25 min and at this point we were the only ones at the restaurant so i finally went up to the front to ask for the check and a to go box. food has gone down hill :(
edit:wrote that months ago and today is my first time back and im having the exact same experience i got mongolian beef and it was overcooked and dry af and i the crabpuffs were hard again. spup had one piece pf tofu and my uncles soup was bland too. waiter was basically walking away from me when i tried to explain to him what happened and order...
Read moreI only gave this one star because there was no option to give zero stars. This place used to have pretty good food but what I ordered which was so simple was not all that great I got wonton soup, egg rolls and shrimp rollsI got another bowl of soup and two more eggrolls for another person the other person thought the soup was OK I was able to eat mine but it wasn't all that great. The shrimp rolls basically had no taste at all the only passable things were the egg rolls. I was surprised when they didn't have curbside. But I thought oh that's easy I'll just go in quickly pay at the counter and be out of there in one minute. No such luck to women who look like they might be DoorDash people bumped ahead of me in line and every time they did I went back outside because I did not want to be standing in line behind people to pay. I was shocked that there was no curbside. One couple of guys came out of the door and one sneezed on me as I was waiting outside. By the time I got home I was exhausted from having to run in and out to see if there was a place where I could pay my bill once I paid it I still had to wait around for the girl to give me a ticket to Sign Do not go to Qin Dynasty!! Unless they...
Read morePhysically this restaurant is appealing. The staff is also in most cases as well as courteous and helpful.
If I had to end my review here I would add at least 3 more stars, unfortunately I, like many people, go out to eat for the food. I'm sorry I went to Qin Dynasty to eat !!
1st the food temperature for two meals was barely warm? One item ordered was off the sushi roll portion of the menu, it was served in a bowl??? The seafood in this roll was tepid and the characteristic sause was tasteless.
I was in the mood for some spicy food and debated whether to choose from a classic Kung Pao Chicken or the Mongolian Beef. Both were designated spicy by the red peppers on the menu. I chose the Mongolian Beef. Of the two meals ordered it was a tad warmer, maybe room temperature and totally lacking in the piquant department. My ice tea was far spicier?
The broth in the wonton soup was fair but again the wontons themselves were lacking any distinctive flavor.
It's a shame when you visit a well kept restaurant that seemed very popular from the crowd there to dine which had been highly recommended by the person who shared the meal. I'm glad I know where this restaurant is now so I can avoid it...
