I had an extremely disappointing experience with this furniture store, where I ordered a single chair that was promised for delivery in 6–8 weeks but ultimately took a staggering 18 weeks to arrive. Throughout this prolonged delay, not once did the store reach out with an update or explanation—I was left completely in the dark and had to initiate all inquiries myself. In fact, the chair only showed up the day after I followed up for the second time, which suggests my order was not being appropriately prioritized until I pressed the issue. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there: when I raised my concerns with the store’s manager Pamela, I was met with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude from both Pamela and a salesperson named Susan. They offered no meaningful apology or accountability for the delay, and when I requested to speak with a higher-level supervisor, that information was withheld, effectively stonewalling my attempt to escalate the issue. Read moreLucia at Baybrook Ethan Allen is always extremely helpful and a great designer. I did not give 5 start because of the poor quality control from the wood furniture manufacturer. I have received numerous pieces that were damaged upon arrival. Ethan Allen does replace the pieces but my last replacement piece was damaged by the delivery person and the repair was worse than the damage so I had to keep the original damaged piece (drawers are warped, paint not even with some parts having next to no pain, legs on desk that wobble, chair seams showing, material faded with bleaching by the repair dept instead of replacing.

After visiting several stores, one of which actually lied to us about where their furniture is made, we went back to EA. Price was the highest of anything we had seen but the designer was very knowledgeable and helpful and they could keep the chairs in their warehouse for a few weeks if they arrived before our home was completed- had them for 5 weeks but they did get here a couple of weeks earlier than expected. Delivery was done to a storage unit as our home is still not done but the guys were neat and clean ( have had furniture delivered by guys with filthy hands in the past) and made sure we had time to inspect our furniture before they took off.
