The train is pretty cool! My son has ridden it a couple times from San Antonio to Houston and back. It beats two tanks of gasoline for sure. It’s just a little longer than a car ride and zero traffic. 5hr trip. However, I probably wouldn’t want to leave my car parked at the Amtrak station in Houston it is in an area where it would either get stolen or broke into. IMO. There’s very little security that I can see and the lot is not gated, it’s wide open so anyone can...

We had friends traveling from Arizona on the Amtrak train. It wasn’t a great experience for them, as this was their first train ride, and maybe their last. They said to many setbacks which delayed their arrival time to Houston, Texas by 5 hrs. When traveling on Amtrak trains...
