Fletcher Bike Studio — Local services in Houston

10/10 would recommend. I was in the market for some higher BMX handlebars for my SE. I called around to multiple shops but there was something different about Fletcher Bike Studio that stood out. When I called the other shops, I asked for what I was looking for they checked, didn't have and simply hung up the phone. However, when I called Fletcher Bike Studio the gentleman who answered the phone (rude of me not to get his name) was very helpful, attentive and offered other solutions to my problem. He offered to have me come by the shop, access my bike and see if there were other solutions to help me with my problem. I could easily order the bars online but I wanted them ASAP for a ride that night. But sometimes going local is the way to go and I'm so happy I did. I arrived and it was all hands on deck. I'm new to biking and I'm still learning. When I had a question, I didn't feel like they were man-plaining to me at all. I'm a people person and the two gentleman that helped me were very personable. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. You can't beat that. Thanks again...

I recently built a bicycle from parts I bought online, and all I can say is it wouldn't have been feasible for me without the guys at Fletcher. I went in immediately after receiving my frame and talked with Kevin for a while about how I was thinking of building it up, and we measured most of the dimensions (free of cost) I was going to need to begin ordering parts.

After parts came trickling in, I quickly realized that I had neither the tools nor the experience and know-how to properly assemble the bike on my own. Over a span of a couple of months, I had the bottom bracket and headset installed, wheels trued, fork cut, and other assembly done by the guys at Fletcher. All work was completed within a day or two and was of high quality. I always received a call from Kevin letting me know as soon as things were ready.

If you're looking for a local bike shop with fast and friendly service and knowledgeable people, or you just was to talk about bike stuff, you can't do any better...

What a great lil bike shop! Kevin Fletcher is a true bike enthusiast! Not just some employee clocking in to make a check! He cares about his customers! Stopped in there today w my son & wife to see what kind of BMX bikes and parts were available! Kevin spent a good 35mins if not more ( had I been alone it'd of been an hour + easily! Haha ) just talking bikes and showing us various products that were high quality as well as leading in innovation and design. The man is very professional and passionate about bikes and it shows in his capabilities to listen to a customers wants and then appropriately show them what they need! It's not my place to spill beans but look for big things to come very very soon from Fletcher Bike Studio!
