This review is for Faculty Hype which is the part of the store where they have Nike and Adidas listed for the “resell” price. I have been buying and selling shoes for years on StockX, eBay and via consignment. The prices here are over the top, ridiculous. They are charging an extra 20% on top of resell price just because they are a retail location where you can get shoes the same day. This is a rip off as other consignment stores like sneaker summit have much more fair prices and aren’t intended to rip off the consumer. They also advertise that they will buy your ”limited” shoes and clothes much like a Round 2 but they are extremely picky on what they’ll take and offer low ball prices in return. Lastly, they advertise that services like StockX and Goat can’t be trusted because they sell fake shoes and don’t have a process for legit checks. This cannot be further from the truth and when I asked the owner which of his employees is able to spot fakes 100% of the time he couldn’t answer me.

At the end of the day please be a smart consumer and don’t get ripped off by people attempting to make even more money on hype. If you are paying double or triple on retail there are better options than...

So this review is intended for The Faculty Hype portion. I think the store is amazing and when I walk into it I can sense a feel from stores like Round Two, Stadium Goods, and Flight Club etc. With that being said The Faculty Hype will also offer the same prices as some of those stores as well which can be expensive compared to sites like GOAT or StockX. Overall I like the experience I think everyone should check it out. By FAR THE BEST SHOP & EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD. This is the best sneaker shop ON HOUSTON. Customer service was phenomenal! I was recommended to this place by one of their frequent shoppers. If you want great customer service, a variety of clothing & sneakers for reasonable price, please visit! Please have some curiosity and respect while visiting. The establishment is very professional!
